There was plenty of room for everyone. The main indoor space holds several tables and is equipped with a kitchen and restrooms. We also used a smaller barn for serving guests and used the huge lawn for vendor and beverage tents. There was also plenty of room on the grounds for a variety of food trucks and display cars for a car show. A full band was set up in an area large enough for a nice bandstand. I spoke with a woman who volunteers regularly at the venue. She had nothing but nice things to say about the management. Every inch of the grounds was clean and well-maintained. I'd definitely recommend it for events and special occasions.

The venue was clean and they set up a drink stand when you walked in, having some popular mixed drinks available to be taken right away instead of waiting. The old car inside the reception area was a nice touch, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was (see the photos). I also came here for a private photo shoot about 1.5-2 years ago, and it is a lovely venue for a myriad of events.

The main walking path is probably around 1/3 of a mile, so a quick walk; but there are a few trails that branch off, leading to a children's play area, courts, or nearby municipal buildings. There are many benches available to sit and enjoy the scenery, or watch the ducks; the lake has multiple fountains, and 3 different docks to enjoy. A stunning park for photo opportunities as well, and they hold a lot of community events, which is a big plus in my book. Definitely recommend checking it out if you get the chance.

The parking lot is massive, so parking wasn't an issue. The golf club itself is so large. It can hold multiple large events at one time. This is both a pro and a con. We were in one of the pretty large ballrooms as our party was nearly 200. The ballroom next to us was having a baby shower, and while it sounded like they were having a great time, and I love that for them, the music was so loud that we were struggling to talk over it in our event, which was a more somber occasion, so it really dampened our experience. While I don't believe our event was any more important than the other event, I do believe golf club staff should have a bit more of a pulse on the impact of simultaneous events on each each other. For food, we had chicken in with marsala sauce or piccata sauce, roast beef, roasted broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, rolls with butter, roasted potatoes, and salad. I tried everything but the beef and would give the food three stars overall. The staff were very attentive and seemed to have good attitude and be working hard. The staff is very friendly, and knowledgable, and very willing to help if needed. I was slightly turned off by the photographer fee of $50.00 a day, especially since we only had a 45 minute shoot, but the pictures turned out beautiful and my friend was happy. I would like to be able to shoot there more, but knowing if have to add a steep shooting fee to the shooting cost is a big deterrent to my willingness to come back to shoot again, even though it's a beautiful place for pictures.
