They provided a free room and PA system all we paid for was the meal and wine. The service was outstanding and the portions of superbly cooked food enough to satisfy any gargantuan appetite. Martin held control and in his own inimitable laid back style mastered the evening, truly amazing. The facilities at the Parkway gave our out of town guests the opportunity of using it as a base to visit family and/or the tourist attractions which they all took advantage of. I had a spa session with massage and facial and it was excellent! I swam every day and used the sauna facilities. The locker room and pool area was kept very clean and dry. The lady attendant was fastidious in keeping the changing room dry and clean. There was a bit of an incident where one of my favorite vintage pieces I sent off to laundry was not returned to us when they dropped off our clean clothes. I had actually been at the entrance to the hotel when the cleaner dropped it off and I verbally acknowledged to her that I could see my laundry because of my vintage piece and she stated they'd be delivered to my room shortly. Front staff sent back an empty hanger amongst our other clean clothes and had lost it. We found it on the floor amongst boxes behind the reception desk. They returned my item, and apologized personally. Not a big deal and glad it was resolved.
