I attended the worst restaurant ever for my friends 25th birthday. We were actually supposed to be…read moregoing somewhere else but for some reason that was cancelled and this was a last minute resort. Last resort INDEEEEEEEEEEED. When a party of 15 calls a restaurant on a Friday night for a table the following Saturday night, and they respond, Yes, no problem, we have more than enough room. something is suspiciously wrong. When we arrived at approx 8pm the place was deserted. We were sat down and given a plate to begin our 'all you can eat'. Honestly, i will eat anything, but when i go out i expect something a little bit special. I have lived in China, so i was surprised in the buffet area to see trays of chips, sausage rolls, sausages fried in batter, pork pies and other such delicacies bought from the adjacent M&S frozen section, It's not bad this is it! said our birthday friend, No. we lied. Then the worst hen party ever walked in, most of them looking like they were retired boxers and others were clearly there because they heard it was 'all you can eat' and the prospect of infinite eating shouted over any other thoughts running through their minds, such as 'shower'. Then came the best part. We had arranged a special birthday surprise in the form of a secret cake and the good old 'Happy Birthday to you' on the speaker system. With most people feeling ill the response wasn't as enthusiastic as it could have been, but when the cake arrived our spirits returned. It was the funniest thing ever. It looked like someone had cut a chunk out of the old sofa in the back and painted it brown. In conclusion this place is hilariously inadequate. But unless word spreads quickly then the words 'all you can eat chinese buffet' will have people coming for a while.

Without doubt the most disgusting 'food's I have digested! The chicken & sweet corn soup is just…read morelike the concealed stuff you get on cheap corned beef, you could eat it with a fork well, that's if u can bare the overwhelming taste of salt! Advertises eat as much as you like...which should b followed by as long as you don't want more than 2 of anything. The prawn toast was just fried bread with sesame seeds on, the sweet n sour chicken wad deep fried batter. I spat out the stuff they said was beef in black bean sauce because it most definitely was not beefthe salt n pepper chicken things, I mean 'wing's were cold and just vile. My 7yr old daughter had 2 cheap sausages and a few noodles and my husband had a few bits of the duck and a couple of ribs. £45 and we were leaving after 23 minutes! Spoke to the manager (who is so patronising btw) and she refused even half a refund, shoulda realised when we walked in not to eat there looking back now. The place was empty at 8.30pm on a Friday night, you had to pay before you ate, the card machine failed twice and the 'food's is at the back so u can't even see it beforehand. The floor was so sticky it was like a nightclub, the ladies toilet didn't have a lightbulb and the cutlery looked filthy. HANDS DOWN THE RANKEST RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN!

The food is ok, you can have as many starters as you want before having your main. To be honest…read moreit's only just ok the starters are not hot enough. My prawn toast and seaweed very greasy. The main meal I could not eat very unpleasant no flavour. The young lady who served us was fabulous nothing too much the restaurant saving grace. The drinks are very expensive I wanted a coke when I enquired if it was genuine coke I was informed it's a cheap supermarket coke. At 3.35 for a pint when the 2 litre bottle cost 65p umm. I then said did they do a can of proper coke hurry yes. But they wanted 3.35 for a can ok coke and when j pointed out a can is 250ml a half a pint I was told it's the managers pricing. So make your own minds up I will not return.

This is a very decent Chinese restaurant-- especially in the middle of the countryside. I would say…read moreit's the best I've found thus far (but still a bit far off from my favorite Chinatown haunts in Los Angeles and New York-- perhaps because it's Cantonese as opposed to what I'm used to). The restaurant is very well presented and the staff friendly. And it is a relief to see a Chinese restaurant owned, operated and staffed by Chinese people. But i still do often wish I could have some of what they're eating as opposed to what they're serving their guests... Have the salt and pepper squid for an appetizer (although I'd eat it as an entree!)-- light, flaky and well-seasoned.
