One staff member was working on the her computer while the other just sat at the front desk. Informed their staff what I was looking for and they just pointed stating this is what they had in stock. My leg is messed up for now and this is pretty frustrating. I can't walk very long on a concrete surface so our trip will be cut short, meaning we will likely spend less and not be as happy with our visit. All it would take is the manager telling the cashier(s) that they need to plug those in when they don't have customers and hold them accountable for it. Come on! Really!

One trip I got a 12 cup cuisinart for around $200 bucks which was a steal. Another trip I found a king size Sferra coverlet & shams that were $1,200 on sale for $350 bucks. They are spectacular. On another trip I got some beautiful white strawberry street serving pieces I use all the time & hubby bought a Bissell vacuum cleaner, for what I have no idea. It's not like he is going to use it & I KNOW he didn't buy it for me. Nope. This trip, hubby & I found this GIANT memory foam king size bed topper. We decided to just try it out & put it on the bed here at the beach house while on holiday. OMG! It's like sleepin on cloud 9! It's so comfy Zzzzzzzzzzzz, Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, Zzzzzzzzzzz.... Sorry, I just fell asleep :) Highly recommend ;)

When my grandmother suggested we go here because they carry dresses she likes, I knew my chances of…read morefalling in love with something were slim. For the most part, I was right, this was way over my head. Partially because I now live in North Carolina and I'd stick out on the sidewalk, partially because I guess I'm just not old enough to appreciate the style. But enter the rack of Mexican dresses (funny how I hated being made to wear them as a child but I adore them now). Beautiful, just beautiful, but pricey. They had them from many different regions but I've been favoring the heavily (all-over) embroidered dresses lately and after seeing the prices for one here ($270) I wanted to kick myself for not buying one at the beach at A Mano ($195). Same colors, extremely similar pattern, but I guess Pilar has higher rent to pay? The rest of the store carried flowy embroidered pieces, matching two piece sets, beautiful jewelry, Mexican trinkets, belts, shawls, accessories, and more. The women working were extremely nice, and of course I left with items in hand (minus the dress), but it probably won't be my first shop to return to when in town.
