It's like walking inside a time capsule! The back lounge is a blast from the past with deco booths and old jukeboxes mounted at each table. The tuck and roll bar is unbelievable. I am so in love with the women's bathroom and the large mirrors and wall vanity! Seriously, whoever stole the matching pink chair to the vanity really deserves some bad luck! Up front is a quiet little dive bar with cheap beer and lots of old locals chatting. The owner is an absolute sweetheart and was super friendly and let us gush for about an hour about how in love we were with the bar and wanted to just move in. I really wish the back of the bar was devoid of the weird 80s arcade games and icky beer signs. It really takes away from the astounding authenticity. For someone like me who is obsessed with vintage and antiques, this place is heaven. Next time I'm in Anaconda, The Club Moderne will be my first pit stop!!!

Like a lot of joints around Anaconda, this place does what it sets out to do. They have a $10 steak night on Wednesdays that is the absolute jam. The owner is cool as hell and the rest of the staff are great. There's a wifi/app-enabled jukebox. Local Montana beer on draft and cheap prices. I eat the burger here on the regular. It's a good burger. I've never had a bad time here. Also, this place apparently has an incredibly rare shuffleboard table, but I've never used it. If you're looking for a bar, or a burger, and you're in Anaconda, I mean, here you go. This is the place. Go. Do it.

While I didn't go to the smoke stack... that is for another time when Steve and I can sight see together I did make a stop at the brewery as I didn't feel that it was too terribly far off of the Interstate. The brewery is nestled in downtown and the set up is pretty cool. There is a nice, spacious area inside the brewery but on nice days they do have outdoor seating on a patio. It was nice and warm on the day I paid a visit here so I took advantage of the outdoor option. The beer choice in my mind I also desired to have that would go along with the warmer weather would be a lighter beer. What fit the bill just fine was getting the Cool Hand Rice Lager. This was a nice, crisp beer that was just what I was looking for. A little bit biscuity and some hoppy bitterness going on that reflected this type of lager nicely. It was very refreshing to sit down to as my journey to Butte and the main event in Bozeman would mean hotter weather as that part of the trip unfolded.

Lots of spaces to pick from including awesome outdoor spaces. The beer selection is great and they provided samples to help decide.
