I love purple, and naturally, when I heard the name "Purple Tree," I was curious. Why such a name?
When I stayed overnight here, I saw the "purple tree," which is actually the duhat tree by the pool. Under this tree is also where people can have their breakfast and it's a very relaxing experience. (Oh, and there is purple in their logo, too. And staff have purple uniforms!)
Actually, entering The Purple Tree is like entering a different world. From busy President's Avenue, you walk up a few steps and to your right are unique artworks. And then farther up is an inviting pool (and from its side you hear the sound of falling water) - and of course, the purple tree!
For me, this is really one of the nicest places to have a staycation, in some ways better than in hotels. There is nothing quite like eating breakfast under the purple tree while staring out into the pool. It is utter relaxation.
And, the bed is comfortable, like it would in a nice room at someone's home. P2,200 is quite a reasonable price for the experience. read more
