He quickly got all the small family groups together and had good eye for helping us all to pose in balanced composition. It is not easy to navigate such a large group but even with the 3 Little ones Jason was able to keep them entertained and smiling as he quickly clicked his camera. He was very professional yet put everyone at ease with his quick jokes and wit. I have had other professional photographers at OBX but Jason has been the Best and we will definitely call on him again. He is very easy to work with and we all love our family photos! BELIEVE THE HYPE!…read more My wife and I hired DJ Hype (Marcus) for our wedding reception entertainment in the Outer Banks (NC) a few weeks ago.  DJ Hype was amazing,  professional,  super accommodating,  friendly and able to read the crowd,  which is a very critical skill for any DJ.  He effortlessly went song to song and knew when to follow the program and when to skip over things.  To accompany his show,  he had microphones and lights for the reception too.  We only wish we had more than four (4) hours to enjoy his grooves! Rest assured that we'll be keeping his info handy for any future parties that we'll be having.  Prior to the event,  DJ Hype met with us and our wedding planner on Zoom to discuss what we envisioned from him and to give him an idea of what to expect at the wedding and the reception.  We could feel his enthusiasm through the computer screen!  He also had us fill out some paperwork outlining all major segments of the wedding and to review what songs we wanted and when and what his script should be in introducing people, etc.  DJ Hype even made sure he followed the fancy dress code. One of the most memorable parts of the reception was when DJ Hype hit the dance floor with us on a couple of songs to help the crowd with those group dancing songs like 'The Cupid Shuffle.'  He was full of energy and went above and beyond to ensure he provided the best entertainment experience for everyone there.  It was quite the party,  if i can say so myself!  He even played some upbeat gospel music for my mother that was unexpected so our vocalist could sing for her one more time (my mom left us for heaven two weeks later) so the flexibility DJ Hype provided was priceless.  Everybody was dancing on the floor OR dancing in their respective chairs!  Listen . . . if you are looking for a top notch DJ, look no further than DJ Hype as he provides an amazing and memorable experience - and with that,  you can certainly believe the hype about DJ Hype!

You are able to select "color theme" and if you are celebrating something special, they can customize. I had selected blush color tones and was so happy with the way our picnic turned out. It was soooo beautiful!!! We selected a time for sunset but they also offer sunrise. Our package came with a charcuterie box and we were able to substitute the bubbly beverage for a non-bubbly, due to dietary restrictions. Curator and Owner was very nice to communicate with. They texted us to let us know our picnic was all set up, 15 minutes before scheduled time. Then we texted when we were leaving. We had two hours to enjoy our picnic. Included in our basket was hand wipes, bug spray, and trash bag, things I hadn't even thought of!! Our package came with a blue tooth speaker but was surprised by a dating "get to know" each other card game, which even though we are married was fun to play!!! We will definitely book again next time we are in the OBX!!!
