She is the type of attorney that actually cares about your case and your family. She believes in doing what is best for not only the parents but the child. She is very quick to respond back when you email, call, or txt her. The office staff is always helpful and courteous when I call. Sometimes you can feel so overwhelmed in family court but this law firm works as a team. And this is the team of attorneys I'd recommend to anyone. I came to Robert's office because, even though I am current with my first mortgage, I had an issue with my second mortgage. Several years ago I stopped making payments to the second mortgage but the mortgage company never contacted me or threatened me with foreclosure. I figured it was because my house was underwater and had no equity. But now after almost 7 years, the mortgage company filed for foreclosure and i was forced to deal with this issue. I had no idea what to do or who to turn to until a friend of mine gave me Robert's number and I called to see what options I had. Truth be told, I had no other option but to stop paying this mortgage after my income was cut in half in 2013. Since then, I managed to stay current with my first mortgage and never though a second mortgage could actually foreclosure and take my house. Until, to my surprise ,I was given the lawsuit and was scared that after finally getting on my feet, I could loose my house. I called to make an appointment to speak to Robert and his office worked around my busy schedule to make it work. I met the attorney the following day and all I can say is that I left with a huge weight off my back. My uncertainty, fears and anxiety were met with compassion. I sat with Robert, he introduced himself and said let me see what we can do. He went through a series of questions and he explained why he was asking them. After he discussed my options, I did not hesitate to get him to represent me in my foreclosure case. From the first day I felt very confident that he and his office knew exactly what needed to be done and I trusted his advice. Not only did they represent me in the legal case but also began speaking to my mortgage company for ways to workout an agreement to help me save my house. He stressed the importance of communicating with my mortgage company for options to stay in the property. Shortly after I left the office, I began working with the office team to get all the documents and information. Not once did I call the office and reach a voicemail. Someone always answers the phone. Everyone in the office is a true professional and they know what they are doing. It's nice to feel that you are speaking with a human being who understands the kind of stress and anxiety this whole process brings but who still knows how to give me a sense of security and peace knowing that they are working for my best interest. After a couple of weeks of going back and forth with my mortgage company, Robert told me that I have been approved for a loan modification and the payment is something I can actually afford. I am so thankful for this result and im sure it made all the difference that Robert's office was representing me through this. They know what they're doing and the professionalism and attention they have brought to my cause and I'm sure everyone else they represent is second to none. He also offered to give me personal information in regards to the other party while he mediated which was unethical. The secretary would cover for him and claim (by yelling) that he was in the office just writing up notes although when he was asked for the notes or any documentation on the 12 hours he took to write these He had nothing .Provided nothing. My consultation with him took place in his office at 8:30 PM, right after I had been served with divorce papers. He promised the world, and I paid him $5000 retainer and $500 consultation fee. That night was the last I heard from him. Also, he puts in his retainer that "it is earned upon receipt" so basically he reserves the right to do nothing for you, which is what he does. I had another attorney trying to help me recuperate my money from him, but he is a lazy shark. He will take advantage of people with no thought to what is right and moral. Believe me, if you hire him, you will live to regret it! Look him up first, please, and see how many complaints he has with the Florida Bar Association!
