Our guests had way too much fun taking photos! I also purchased a scrapbook in addition to my package and I'm so happy I did! Cindy took the copies of the photos of our guests, made a very cute themed cover, added the photos into the scrapbook, and now I have this lovely album full of photos and messages of and from our guests. My guests loved her services so much that a week after our wedding, my in-laws asked to book her for another upcoming event! I could not stop raving about how outstanding Cindy's service was to our wedding guests. He worked with us to create the perfect photostrip design, and even made a special order to get us a backdrop color that he didn't have in stock! I really felt that he cared about us as customers and wanted to make our night perfect. He was also very understanding of our privacy concerns, which was really important to us. This event was incredibly important to me, and I wanted every detail to be just right--and thanks to D'Arcy, it was! I had seen her booth at other events, including a New Year's party in Ventura at the same hotel where I hosted my celebration. After seeing the quality of her setup and the fun it brought to guests, I knew I wanted to work with her. From the very beginning, D'Arcy was amazing. We started planning weeks in advance, discussing backgrounds and design ideas. I shared my vision with her, and she brought it to life beautifully. Her communication throughout the process was prompt, professional, and reassuring--she was always quick to respond and very easy to work with. BUT the administrative side and studio reliability are major issues. We actually should have seen the red flags on our very first visit when we came to book our appointment. No one was inside the studio, and another family was waiting outside. We let it go at the time, but the exact same thing happened at pickup. Since I had my baby with me and wanted to avoid driving over only to wait around, I called in advance to confirm someone was there and explicitly stated I was on my way. Yet when we arrived, the studio was locked and empty. We ended up waiting for quiet awhile for someone to show up. If staff needed to step out, basic courtesy and sound business practice dictate that you inform the customer on the phone. To top it off, no itemized receipt was provided. While the photographer did a wonderful job, the repeated unreliability and lack of consideration for customers' time mean we'll probably just go somewhere else next time.
