The person that interviewed me for hours and followed up repeatedly, didn't actually fact check with me before publishing the article. I found out after it published, my name was not even correctly presented. Numerous phone calls to the editor, texts to the writer resulted in no response however posting public reviews of the experience on social media and yelp immediately created a response and apology from the writer. So I have edited this review, given another star and removed the review I put on Facebook out of fairness. What is published is always already published. How you treat people that are trying to give you information fairly, that are subject matter specialist and spend their entire life on call, remains to be seen in the future. The Point Reyes Light deserves everyone's support and shame on those advertisers who decided to pull their ads because the tourists, no matter how temporarily, have to stay at home with their money. Mix also puts on awesome events like Mix After Work where they bring up and coming artists to small venues and you usually get to meet the artists and take pics with them too after the acoustic show! They also do an awesome charity concert every year around Christmas called Chris-Mix where they collect toys for the Toys for Kids program and all of the ticket proceeds got to a charity. They're an awesome station to listen to at work as well as any other time of the day! Everyone should check them out!
