A fantastic gem of a place in the Yorkshire Dales. An older hotel recently upgraded to the highest standard. A charming pub with fireplaces and a lovely, community vibe. Our dinner was five-stars and the breakfast the next morning was unbelievable. Eggs from next door. Cheese from down the road. Just magnificent.
The rooms are small but very well appointed with full ensuite and all brand new. Very comfortable. Quiet, so peaceful at night.
And the scenery!!! What views, what beautiful walks. Just amazing. I'm so happy we ventured off the beaten path to find The Plough. And, as ever, the people are everything. And the Plough is very lucky to have such a great team of staff. Can't wait to return! read more
