Not happy !When I asked for the money back they said they are canceling my auto and home insurance coverage. 1st place i called , Farm bureau $1800 less a year for car insurance and $350 less a year for homeowners. Includes $40,000 more of home coverage policy.

I had a small policy with this company for about 10 years. I recently sold it and asked them to…read morecancel the policy. Initially they balked saying the closing could fall through. Can you believe? Well it didn't fall through and I had fully expected the policy to be cancelled. So almost 3 weeks later I get a phone call about did I sign and return the cancellation form? Lucky for me and unlucky for them I was an insurance adjuster 6 years and I sold insurance 3 years. They never knew this. That is ridiculous. Then she goes on to ask me who bought my property. Oh really. Then to make matters worse she tells me the tax assessment office still had the property in my name. That is none of their business. This is shady operating of not wanting to let an account go and trying to be able to contact the new owner. Well I complained to the Insurance Commission verbally. You can do that and you can file a formal complaint as well. Finally I found a number for Allstate unrelated to this agent because I kept getting rerouted back to them. Those SOB's never cancelled the policy and it was done for me by customer service at Allstate. I would never recommend a business that resorts to these types of tactics.
