Many parties already seated, and many open tables remaining. Told 20 minute wait, waited 35 and taken to a table that had been vacant the entire time. Waitress was very good- up until the end and service was very quick. Two of us ordered the Chislic- about 10 pieces of well done fatty steak and a side. The side was fine. The others had Ribs and Chicken. The Ribs were on the small side, very little meat. Chicken was dry. Every one of us noted that the food, with the exception of the sides was cold. I understand the ribs and other meat items are cooked ahead of time, but they should still be at least warm. End of the meal, we were very surprised when the waitress that had been so good, walked up, almost slammed the bills down and walked away. Hope this visit isn't the new norm here.

We had the pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and spring pasta salad. The food was all delicious! This is a beautiful and clean venue that allowed for children to play while the party was taking place. The staff was so friendly and provided a top notch experience for this special day for my family.

We used up all the rooms but the place could handle quite a few more if room were shared. There are rooms with three or so beds in them to help accommodate a crowd. The rooms are first class and clean! The private lake was definitely the highlight! Swimming, kayaking, etc. It is an old granite quarry so it is a very clean clear lake with red granite cliffs rising up on the sides. It is especially beautiful after dark with a campfire on the shore and a full moon shining across the water. The hosts were very accommodating with anything they could do to help.

I highly recommend anyone looking for event venue to check out Dakota Plains. They also have a great hotel next door. Although I am not sure if they are the same ownership or not.

The lady at the office took the time to move us to what would work. #46 pull thru. we had to lower the nose all the way down on our 5th wheel. But it worked. Cable available *could not get any channel, antenna NO channel. ice is expensive at the RV office. The view was worth the effort. The Bridge Restaurant in the Hotel has great steaks, and salmon dishes. We were told mix review. but a couple of folks from a cattle company stayed in the park, said it's food. It was, 10 ounce sirloin medium well with baked potato and hand crafted brew. Visit the "Alta Lakota museum and cultural center" across the Missouri in Chamberlin. Then close to I-90 @ exit 264 see "DIGNITY of earth &Sky" 50foot Indian maiden. At the visitor center. I would visit again. NOTE: the best level spots are occupied by long term, or summer residents, backed up to the river. There are still good spot, just have to deal with the leveling AND no TV ( Wi-Fi is available)

It was a very nice Holiday Inn an upgrade from what we were staying in. Clean, comfortable, relaxing. Front desk was accommodating & pleasant. Breakfast was very good. A very pleasant stay!
