There's a wood fire oven in the middle of the restaurant, where you can see the dough being banged out as they build each pizza from scratch. My favourite: margarita. I get a bit lost in translation, but the waitstaff are friendly and explain everything. I recommend leaving room for dessert as the tiramisu and chocolate crepes (I ask to swap the Chantilly cream for gelato) hit the spot. This place gets busy on weekends and, if you've got less than 6 in your group, you'll have to try your luck getting a table as they don't take bookings.

One of my favorite meals here is the 'Greek Chick' wrap, a (kinda) healthy alternative to the massive burgers and deep fried goodies. The sauce in this chicken and salad pita wrap is so delicious! I would definitely recommend this as the best burger place in the area. Perfect for a lazy lunch.

The staff offered crayon for my kids to draw on the table, and politely almost apologetically informed us when one of their specials were not available. - The Wagyu Beef Ragu Pappardelle was delicious. Now the negatives: - Portion was too small. - The Seafood Risotto that my husband had hardly contain any seafood in it. There were tiny pieces of fish, cut pieces of prawn and that's it. For $21.8 a plate we expect to see on the plate at least some mussels, a few pieces of fully intact prawns in all their glory. When we ordered seafood risotto, we want to see seafood and not just a soupy risotto with a few cut pieces of what looked like leftover seafood they found in their fridge. - The Australian Pizza though delicious was again sparse in toppings. In summary, it was pretty average. I was expecting more, but at least everything was delicious. Tip: they don't take Eftpos and Amex, and charged 3% if you pay with credit card.

The food its self was quite nice. Mild Peri Peri is bloody hot! So I'd hate to see was extreme is. My burger was 2 tenderloins on a wholemeal roll with lettuce and tomato with lemon and herb sauce with a truck load of chips that could feed a small army and a small sprite. It was nice to have the option to have it take away or eat in on actual plates. Would I eat it again? Yeah maybe in another 8 years time since it took me that long to try it lol.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and a more than adequate wine list. There is even a separate menu with a selection of boutique beers. The tables are well set with crisp linen, white crockery and shiny silverware. Servings appear to be all adequate or generous in their sizes. Regrettably tonight's dinner was just not up to scratch. We started with sparkling water with a slice of lemon, followed by a lovely Shiraz for me as accompaniment for my veal Oscar. My wife had a pleasant Pinot Grigio as accompaniment to her Baked Barramundi. All good so far. I ordered the Salt n Pepper Calamari for entree. Regrettably a poor choice. It was served as little squares of calamari with a spinach salad. The salad was nicely dressed and the calamari tasted pleasant enough, but it appeared to have been commercially prepared, was of disappointing texture, and just would have been so much nicer if it appeared to fresh calamari prepared wholly in the restaurant kitchen. On the other hand, my Veal Oscar was a very adequate dish, accompanied by nicely roasted half potatoes, beans, etc. The veal was tender and tasty and served with a lovely cream sauce. For desert, I ordered a Zabaglione, described in the menu as a "chilled, rich dark Belgium Chocolate mousse". That is exactly what it was, so I am at a loss to understand why it is called a "Zabaglione". In summary, a really very pleasant restaurant, with lovely staff and generally quite good food, only let down by a few small and unusual details. As a family restaurant in pleasant surroundings, I believe this restaurant deserves to be tried as you wend your way up to the mountains, but don't expect haute cuisine.
