She seemed a little surprised that I was a San Antonian. That's OK. We chatted about that a bit. Her shop is so very pleasant and airy. It is stocked with scented candles, jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets), lotions, pens, birthday and non-specific cards (really cool ones; you probably won't find them anywhere else; I bought 3 and a pen). I know I've missed some items, but you get the picture. And damn it, I did not take a picture!! We got to talking about various things and she turned me on to the HEB curbside grocery service. She swears by it, so I may have to try it myself. Anyway, next time you are downtown before 6:30 pm, stop by. So very nice and pleasant. Cadeaux means 'gifts.

Because I wanted it NOT to appear as though a toddler had wrapped it, I needed help. Desperately! Hence, I found this quaint, adorable boutique with the assistance of Google. I gave them a call and spoke with Michelle, who was just so gracious. When I described the size and shape of the gift, she assured me that they could accommodate me, even though the weeding was a mere 3 days away. When I arrived at the shop, Michelle showed me selections of paper and ribbon, from which I chose a pretty cream colored paper with gold stars, with some contrasting ribbons. She assured me that they would find a perfect box and even insert some florals. Because the rain makes my back act up, I sent my husband to pick up the wrapped present that was ready just after the shop opened the very next day -- OMG! It looked like it came out of a catalog -- and it was only $15 plus tax! When I was at the store, I had inquired about personalized embossed stationary, and Michelle told me that they did a type of "reverse embossing" (I've forgotten the appropriate term, but you get the picture). I'm DEFINITELY going to explore their options! This boutique may have gained a customer for life! I've literally seen them with lines out the door, but the staff always does their best at get the line moving as quickly as possible. Some pro-tips before coming here is to park on the back of their store. There are plenty of available parking spots, plus also a few chargers for electric cars. That way you avoid all the traffic from the other stores at this shopping center. Also, before checking out make sure to have your rewards number ready so you can earn all your points. Don't like to shop in store? No problem! You can buy everything online and just pick-up at their counter.

Super charming shop with many items to choose from...great gift shop. They have a plethora of greeting cards, candy, travel mugs, stuffed animals, glasses, etc. to name just a few. It is quite enjoyable to peruse the items they are featuring at the time. One of my main attractions are their sales racks - 90% off, 75% off and 50% off. I scored some 75% off gift bags with hearts on them and the word Love which I can use all year long. The store staff always greet you when you come in and point you to where you need to go. Sometimes, they even walk you to the area. Overall, great shopping trip! Look forward to returning in the future...

The service was great. They explained the process well, checked on me frequently, and were so helpful with creating the final product. They have various scents to choose from. You can mix and match until you find the one you like. You choose your vessel and they mix your choices until the scent is how you want it. You can choose the color and adorn it with wax designs. The price of the candle is based on the price of the vessel. It's a small space but they take small groups and singles (I'm sure you can rent the space up to occupancy size but call to be sure). They are strict about the appointments. They base appointments on party size so there's no room for add ons the day of because they roll appointments. If you need to add on, call ahead first. For fire code purposes, they have to adhere to the limit. I enjoyed the experience. I only wish they had patchouli. It's my favorite scent.
