We chose her month-of wedding coordinator package and it was 1000% worth every penny. They provided tools and resources to help make planning decisions, took their time to really understand what we needed and wanted, and made everything come together seamlessly leading up to and on the day of our wedding. About one month before our wedding, we had a meeting with Kimberly and Melanie to discuss every detail of the wedding from vendors, to party favors, to song choices that really helped us to be sure we had everything covered. Melanie contacted all of our vendors in advance to discuss any final plans and scheduling which made the month leading up to the wedding as low stress as possible. There was a last minute change with our reception location wihch could have made for a very stressful wedding day, however Melanie was able to coordinate all the necessary changes with Snowbird as well as all of our vendors with minimal required effort on our part. Most brides talk about how stressful wedding day can be, however I honestly felt relaxed and confident knowing everything was in Menalie's more than capable hands. Every time someone asked me a question I responded with, I'm not sure but I bet Melanie knows - and she did. The day after our wedding all of our gifts and DIY items were neatly put together and available for us to take home without any stress of lost items. We were thrown quite a curve ball the day of my wedding in that due to a completely unforeseeable situation, our venue became unavailable. I work as a project manager and can admit I am a very hands-on and organized person. I originally did not plan to hire any additional planning or coordinating services but finally decided an extra pair of hands would be helpful. Even if everything had gone according to plan, Roberta & Shelby were SO much more than just the extra pair of hands I thought I needed. There was no way any of us could have predicted the last minute venue change, but Roberta & Shelby handled it flawlessly. Without them, no amount of my organization or planning could have pulled off our wedding the way they did. Roberta was incredibly professional. She notified me early on of the changes, but only after she had time to begin working out a new action plan. I appreciated being kept in the loop, but also appreciated that she didn't call me the second the news broke...informing me of problems without potential solutions to offer would have been extra stress I didn't need in that moment. Roberta & Shelby were also absolutely in sync with Park City Resort and all of my other vendors. The communication and coordination was excellent. Because they had both taken the time to get to know me and understand my vision in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they did an amazing job of recreating our decor in a new venue space. Everything was exactly how I would have liked to see it, even though I wasn't available to provide any input. The planning leading up to our wedding was also perfectly executed. Roberta & Shelby asked the right questions, ran with my ideas, and prompted me to think about different approaches when appropriate. Roberta & Shelby are both extremely capable and professional, but what makes them stand a part from other professionals in your field is how genuine they are. They genuinely wanted to make this wedding my dream wedding, and they went above and beyond at every turn. Roberta even offered to hold our guest's baby during dinner so the couple could enjoy their meal. Although this wasn't something I saw, at least 20 of my guests did notice and made a point to tell me how amazing the Hoopes team was! That's exactly the kind of detail only a person genuinely committed to delivering an above and beyond experience would even think to do. My husband (!) and I are blown away by the HOOPES team.

They are extremely meticulous in making sure that every detail is perfect for your big day. Some highlights from my wedding that are thanks to Caley's include: Beautiful lighting that they strung through the outside and inside portions of my venue, an incredible taco bar for my family luncheon, Speakers that they set up around the reception center, DELICIOUS freshly made pizzas and milkshakes for my reception (would HIGHLY recommend), a flavored soda bar for the guests, yard games (including giant connect four, corn hole and giant Jenga), a photo-booth style sign in book, table linens with beautiful decor, an awesome bubble send-off AND a million other details that I can't thank them enough for. When they originally booked, they were given a price, paid the quoted amount, and had a final phone call **10 days before the wedding to confirm that everything was in order**. Then, just **three days before the wedding**, they received an email saying that the employee who had given them the quote was new and had made a mistake, and they were now expected to pay an additional $300. I'm sorry, but an employee's mistake in providing a quote should not become the customer's problem three days before their wedding. Thankfully, the venue, which lists Cheers & Swizzles as a preferred vendor, stepped in and helped resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. The bartender provided for the wedding repeatedly mixed up drink orders throughout the evening. There were only **two alcohol choices**, so this should have been a pretty straightforward assignment. Yet guests ordering whiskey and Coke were repeatedly given vodka and Coke instead. When you hire a professional bartender for a wedding, you expect them to be able to correctly prepare two simple drink options. Weddings are stressful and expensive enough without having to deal with last-minute pricing issues and poor service from a vendor you trusted to handle an important part of the evening. The venue was wonderful and stepped in when the pricing issue arose, but based on our experience, we would **not recommend Cheers & Swizzles for a wedding or other important event**.

The location is pretty but the staff and owner are of poor quality. I had my wedding ceremony here and I had it booked over a month in advance. When I went to look at the reception center I was planning to have the ceremony on the roof top but if the weather was poor then i was told it would be on the main floor since it has wood floors and is decorated more for a ceremony. The second floor is pretty but it is typically used for luncheons and receptions. So I spoke to Anissa who is in charge of all of the things that goes on in the reception center. When I spoke to her she said yes if it is bad weather you will be on the main floor since i give preference to the brides rather than luncheons. Then she stated that it would only be $150 for the ceremony to take place there. So i agreed thinking it was a good deal. She wrote me a receipt but no contract or anything. If you go here make them put stuff down in writing otherwise they will come back at you and change things. So the day before my wedding it was snowing like crazy and i knew it would be inside. I got a phone call from Anissas assistant Jessica. She contacted me and said that the main floor where my ceremony was to be was in a mess and the floor was partly ripped up. I was upset but understood and said that was fine. So the day of my wedding I get there and see that the main floor was booked with a luncheon. So I looked in the door and it looked fine to me, the floor was in great shape and it was all set up for a luncheon. So I went up the stairs to the second floor and half of the room for my ceremony was set up for a ceremony and the other half for a luncheon. I asked Jessica why I was on the second floor since I noticed there was a luncheon on the main floor. She looked dumbfounded and said oh it was my misunderstanding. I said interesting I thought you said that the floor was torn up and that is why i am on the second floor. This girl was not the best at lying. I think that this company/owner/employees should tell the truth instead of lying or at least try harder because people are not stupid and shouldn't be treated like they treated my family and I. So I went to the brides room and Anissa Jessicas boss came in and said it is my fault we booked too many events and since your colors are the same as the luncheon that comes after your ceremony we put you in the same room. Then she came at me and said what was the amount we set on? $400. I said no you said $150. While in the room myself and my sister were very annoyed and upset that they had lied to us. She asked me if i wanted a diet coke and if my sister wanted a diet coke to calm us down. Very insulting and not a good way to handle things. So she left and came back and said ok i talked to the owner and you can have it for $150 and i want you to know you are getting a very good deal. She stated over and over how awesome of a deal I got. I thought bi i would have gone somewhere else if i knew you were going to put me on a different floor than i wanted, try to change the price, and treat me and my family like we were not paying customers since we only paid $150 and not $400. I say a paying customer is a paying customer no matter how much they spend. So we had the ceremony, it started at 11 and by 11:30 they were started to push the guests out so that the luncheon party could come in. They rushed my photographer and rushed my family. I got only a few pictures and while pictures were taken they were pushing tables out for the luncheon and talking about how upset we were in front of other guests. The other party shouldn't have been able to come in while we were still barely finishing the ceremony. My sister spoke to the owner and stated that I didn't pay the full amount and that they always book lots of things back to back. My sister said if she had paid the $400 would it have been any different and he said no. This place is horrible the staff is rude, lies and needs to find a different occupation. After I was told that i was getting a good deal by Anissa she said please don't put a bad review for us. I thought lady don't tell me what to do. It was my wedding day and it was wonderful and i loved it but if I could go back I would take my business elsewhere. That place was too stressful and come on who likes to be lied to. I am sure people have had good experiences here but I am not one of them.
