On August 15, 2025, we purchased an engine and transmission swap package advertised on eBay as a 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L LS3/L99 engine with a 6-speed TR6060 manual transmission, described as a complete drop-out removed from a 2014 Camaro SS with 51,572 miles. The shipment was received in September 2025. Upon inspection, we saw an iron block and found out the engine was identified as a 6.0L, not a 6.2L aluminum LS3/L99 as advertised. The transmission identification numbers showed it was from a 2016 model year, not 2014, with unknown mileage and unknown prior work. The seller acknowledged that the wrong engine was sent and said he would find a better engine worth more to make it up to us but never came up with such, they scheduled pickup on three separate occasions, but did not appear each time. Payment was required outside the selling platform. When we followed platform guidance to ensure a documented return, the seller refused to process the return and stated that we were "on our own." We are now left with an engine that does not match the advertised specifications and cannot be used for our project. Even if we try to sell it we have no documentation of what was done and actual miles and its an older year engine so the value is alot less. Looks great! Bolted right up. No missing tabs, broken tabs, came with functional reverse light, back up sensors, led side markers, license plate light and trunk release button. The parts farm went excessive on the protective wrap and the crate they built was very sturdy and the part was also held down really tight to the pallet. I only had 2 issues with being a customer to the parts farm and both wouldn't deter me from buying here again. 1.) There was a small amount of damage to the paint on the drivers side. Very very small, and it likely was shipping that caused this damage. It isn't that big of a deal to me as I planned on repainting this anyways, but to be completely honest, even if I wasn't going to paint it, you can hardly tell it's there. You have to be checking out the cars curves or if you were washing it you may notice it as well. Could it have been the parts farms fault? Sure. Could it have been fedex? Maybe. Is it that big of a issue? No, just something to point out, but it really isn't that big of a deal. 2.) the other issue I had was I ordered this on Sunday, and it took till Friday for it to ship out. Not sure why it took a full work week for it to ship. I was told that Friday they usually ship parts out within 2 business days. Maybe they're short staffed at the moment or this was a abnormally good week for them and they just fell a little behind, either way, also not that big of a deal. If I was on a time crunch maybe I'd be a little upset, but mine is just a street car. It's fine it took 9 days to get here. Plus, when I did get it, the amount of care they put into the packaging made up for it. At the end of the day I give them 5/5 and would recommend this place. They were extremely responsive, anytime I called they helped me right away there were no hold times, and I even messed up by putting local pick up but they were able to shoot me a invoice for shipping no problem. Took days for me to get a response about parts. This is what you get when asking about cars they have posted on their website. They claim to of blocked me on social media but i unfollowed and blocked them and let everyone know to do the same. Left a negative review on Facebook over the part i ordered owners responses have been nothing but snarky and aggressive. I got put on the wall of shame list, guess he need to feel all powerful. Whatever. I misunderstood the picture of the part and it had no mounting hardware. There was no worded description that this was the case as in hardware was not included. Notice i said this was my mistake. I would have changed the reviews to positive if the interaction over MY misunderstanding was professionally handled but he is less then professional. He has to spend his days looking for negative reviews and rebuttal them with more aggressive bs. to keep his dog and pony show running. The second part i ordered was shown as delivered on the 12 of June which was the part i referenced in the first part of my review. The second part order was placed on the 27th of June and said it was delivered on the 12 of June the part didn't ship out because they had no idea that the part was i did speak with i believe her name was Danielle who was very professional and quick to rectify the situation. Am i at fault in some ways YES. Should the owner have dealt with it in such a grumpy and aggressive way HELL NO. issues happen i even sent an email to respond explaining why i misunderstood and was a bonehead. Was working with Chris who was helpful at first but stopped answering my emails once I had sent payment. Paid extra for parts with what I was told had no damage. Once I received the parts one of the two gauges in the dash trim were broken. When I inquired about gauges being broken I was insulted by whoever runs their FB messenger multiple times and I was called "retarded, and then was told that they didn't have time for my nonsense." I paid over $320 for damaged and broken items, but to them this is nonsense that they will not take care of. Was told to send them back, but I want these pieces and could replace gauges for $50 from ebay. I can repair the dash myself and repaint, but the fact that staff on FB messenger insult and berate customers who paid money for parts in undamaged condition is unacceptable. Would not trust a return to this company and now have to pay extra to make dash gauges useable. Wish I could attach a picture of the FB messenger conversation, but unfortunately I cannot. read more

Told me he had the parts I wanted. Drove over an hour. They had sold them months ago.

Not one to typically do this but this is a post for those looking into purchasing from Rob at the parts farm, Absolutely do not waste your time buying from them, I had bought a few things in the past from them without issues so whenever I wanted to 6R80 swap my 2017 GT, I decided to again order from them. When the truck arrived the box was good and everything was secured so there were no issues there. I signed for it loaded it up and brought it home to begin installing everything. I had already stripped my entire car down to prepare for the auto swap to save time. Once I began un boxing everything I found almost all of the retaining clips were broken or about to break. Ok not a deal breaker so I started running all of the wiring starting with the engine bay and plugging as I went, several of the plugs were damaged and wires frayed from the lack of any care removing the parts, I ordered a 2016 kit due to knowing that the 2015's had a few variations in wiring plugs such as the injectors. When I went to plug the injectors in what do you know it's the 2015 style plugs not the newer ones ( figured it was just an early 16 setup so continued install) after finishing everything in the engine bay and ECU by using my old harnesses cutting and soldering everything together I went ahead and installed the trans. Cross member bushings were completely destroyed on it so again I used my old one, once everything under the car was done I moved to the interior. The interior took me several days to sort out, the tweeter plugs were just cut right off, glovebox light plug damaged, air bag plugs broken, steering column plug for the steering wheel damaged brake pedal position sensor damaged etc. I again used my old harness from the manual setup to make this work since I was already committed to the swap having sold all of my manual components. Fast forward and everything is done and back together after fighting damaged parts from Rob the entire time, so I plug my device in to get the vin off the ECU search it up and come to find out it's a 2015 kit not a 16 that I paid for, I crawled under the car and searched all over the trans and sure enough it was also stamped 2015 in the casting. The car wouldn't do anything at all and was dead in the driveway (according to Rob him disabling the PATS would have made this kit direct plug and play) not the case. So I had to reach out to the local Ford dealership and have them flash and relearn the BCM and ECU which cost me even more out of pocket that I didn't expect, they sent a premium harness as well so none of my radio will connect to it. Cruise control no longer works and none of the USB ports work. I reached out to them several times trying to reach a peaceful resolution but got no where, I simply asked just send me the radio kit and I'll overlook all of the issues I had. (Nick over there agreed and said he would over the phone) now over email Rob is denying this and trying to sell it to me for originally a grand then 500, the transmission didn't even get a thousand miles put on it and I already had to change the valve body and lead frame because it wouldn't shift at WOT and would randomly downshift. He doesn't stand behind anything he sells and could care less so long as you already paid him. Save yourself the headache and avoid the parts farm. I wouldn't recommend this Company. Wife purchased wheels on EBay and without any message or heads up canceled the order and wrote "...at buyers request." Never responded as to why. I've had issues with this seller on EBay in the past, not helpful very threatening and blocked me on Ebay. REAL customer service doesnt cancel customers for disagreements. They utilize feedback to better the business for customer needs. The internet rep is a bully and its not worth the headache. Dont take my word read some of the other reviews on this business. read more
