My daughter and I got our haircuts yesterday. Our stylist decided that since the shampoo bowls were busy, she would cut our hair dry. I requested a trim with 1-2 inches. My stylist took 4 inches off of my hair, and one side is one inch longer than the other. No shampoo, no style. 11 minutes from start to finish. My daughter got a trim, her hair is worse than mine. Completely uneven. Our two haircuts, each scheduled for 45 minutes, were both completed in less than 30 minutes total. A complete disaster, and very frustrating. We will be getting new haircuts to fix these. Needless to say, very disappointed and we won't return. read more

I was in Monroe for a month for a rotation and found this place on yelp and decided to get my hair colored here. I was a bit hesitant at first since I've never been here before and well... it's Monroe. However, I noticed all the stylists have awesome cool hair which made me feel better; never trust a stylist with bad hair! I came twice to get the result I wanted and both appointments were fantastic and my hair came out great! I went from black with brown balayage to blonde to platinum blonde/white in 2 appointments. Yes it was a dramatic change, which this salon specializes in. If u want to get fashion color or do drastic hair makeover, this is the place! I love my hair! Everyone here's super nice too! Horrible experience with and with over a foot of hair cut off asked to have the ends trimmed up walked out with about 2 inches of hair with one strip on each side and uneven hanging down about 4 inches do not ever go get Tosha to get your haircut read more

I've thought about this post a lot and now I think I'm ready to say something. In January I had my hair cut by Rachel. I previously had long blonde hair (my natural is dark brown). I had been going to the same stylist for years until I moved to this area and had to find a new one. I have had my hair cut short plenty of times and never have I ever had someone pull my hair flat against my head as tight as possible and cut straight across. My hair was supposed to be collarbone length and it ended up being a few inches above my shoulders. I did not ask for a blunt cut and specifically discussed how much I hate them on me because I have thick hair. My brown roots were growing in and I asked her to blend them with the blonde I already had. I came out with pretty much brown hair. She curled my hair I guess to cover that she had done the exact opposite of what I wanted but after I got home, I cried for days. I'm still upset about the months and money I spent trying to get my hair to look right again. read more
