Gary and Scott were great! We rented various tables, easels, stanchions, and a tent for our wedding…read moreand they made the process so easy! We originally got the tent for potential weather, but we were able to cancel the tent a few days prior once we knew the weather and it didn't look like we'd need it. They arrived on time to drop off all of the rentals, and picked them up same day as soon as the event was over. Their team was timely, efficient, and easy to work with! Gary and Scott always got back to me quickly with any questions I had. They had a great catalogue of rentals to choose from, too. I highly recommend using Atlas Party Rentals!

The worst experiences I've ever had. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this company…read moreto think twice, especially if your event is in Manhattan. This company is not based in Manhattan, and in my experience, they have absolutely no understanding of how to operate or coordinate deliveries and pickups in the city. Manhattan venues have strict access schedules, building requirements, and limited delivery windows. This company seems completely unprepared to handle any of that. There is no customer service. The owner, Scott Gorky, answers the calls himself, yet repeatedly forgets or contradicts what was previously agreed upon. I specifically discussed delivery and pickup times when placing my order. On the morning of my event, I called to reconfirm the schedule, only to have Scott deny what we had discussed. And threaten me to cancel the order just hours before the event. He was an extremely short temper. The delivery arrived nearly an hour early, when no one was at the venue. This was a rented event space, not my residence, which I had made very clear. To make matters worse, I paid for 40 chairs and received only 38. When I requested a refund for the two missing chairs, he said he would. However I still don't have the refund. It's been 5 days since the event. I had also explicitly arranged for same-day pickup because the venue was not my property. Despite this, the chairs were not collected as agreed. I repeatedly tried to reach him to resolve the situation. I made it clear that the chairs needed to be collected by 12 PM and that, if they were not picked up, I would have no choice but to leave them outside the door because I had no further access to the rented space. Immediately after that phone conversation, I received a $400 charge on my credit card. The chairs were eventually picked up, yet these charges were still imposed! What was most disturbing was Scott's behavior on the phone. He was rude, insulting, and aggressive. He also made comments that I found racist and offensive toward Spanish-speaking people. Which I am. This company failed to deliver the full order, disregarded agreed-upon scheduling arrangements, refused to refund missing equipment, and imposed $400 in additional charges despite eventually collecting its chairs. If you are organizing an event in Manhattan, I would strongly recommend finding a company that actually understands the logistics of operating here and respects its customers. I would never rent from this company again. Completely unprofessional from beginning to end

Extremely Disappointed in Customer Service and Leadership…read more I have used A Party Center in the past, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, my recent interaction with the company was frustrating from beginning to end, and the lack of accountability from both customer service and senior leadership was unacceptable. I spoke with Lizzy Dreitlein, Event Consultant, on three separate occasions to confirm that the rental items I was collecting--a bar and six collapsible benches--would fit in my vehicle. During these conversations, I specifically reiterated the size of my vehicle to ensure there would be no issues when I arrived for pickup. I relied on the information she provided and was assured that the items would fit. However, when I arrived to collect my rental, I discovered that the benches did not collapse as I had been told and, more importantly, the items would not fit in my vehicle. This was incredibly frustrating because I had taken the precaution of confirming the details three separate times before making the trip. I then spoke with senior leadership, hoping someone would take ownership of the situation and offer a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, the best they could offer that Friday was to charge me for delivery. My event was the very next day, leaving me with extremely limited options and putting me in a position where I felt I had no choice but to accept the additional expense. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that the items were delivered approximately 30 minutes after I had already left the facility. Had this information and the delivery option been communicated appropriately beforehand, this entire situation could have been handled differently and without the unnecessary stress and frustration. I understand that businesses have policies, pricing structures, and delivery fees. My complaint is not about a company charging for its services. It is about receiving inaccurate information from an employee despite confirming the details three times, then having senior leadership fail to offer a meaningful resolution when that information proved incorrect. The delivery charge became an unexpected expense resulting from a situation I had specifically tried to prevent. The experience demonstrated a disappointing lack of communication, customer care, and accountability. I expected better, particularly as a returning customer. Instead of feeling valued, I felt that the responsibility for an avoidable mistake was placed entirely on me. I would not recommend A Party Center based on this experience. It is unfortunate to have to say that about a business I have used previously, but customer loyalty means very little when a company fails to stand behind the information its employees provide and its leadership cannot find a reasonable way to resolve a problem. I hope management reviews what happened and takes this complaint seriously. Customers deserve accurate information, transparent pricing, and leadership that takes responsibility when things go wrong. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received.
