Pittsburg Airport shuttle parking lot. The new buses have windows that you can't see out of. The bus driver did not announce stops. The digital map on the bus to show location of stops - was not working. I would give this a ZERO and not a one star if I could. Park close to terminal and walk! Do t rely on the shuttle!!!! My flight was canceled so I tried to cancel my reservation for the parking I was told by the staff if you pre pay I was out 150.00 dollars and I had to send a email to see if they would give me my money back the people at the parking spot in Coraopolis are the most unhelpful unkind people that I've ever run across it took me calling my Credit card company and several calls to the main branch in Coraopolis with no help. I will never use their services again and I would advise you to do the same my credit card company refunded my money back and took it up with the people at The parking spot and to the supervisor that I talked to boy you're a bitch do not go here and I see about 300 client in a month time and I will make sure they know about your unsavory practices read more

Review for: the Pittsburgh Parking Spot Up until a few years back (BEFORE the Pittsburgh airport construction) I loved the Parking Spot. They were efficient, reasonably priced and did their job well. Oh how things have changed... When the airport construction started the Parking Spot almost doubled their prices! This made me look around to see if their were less expensive alternatives and, yes, there were. I started using Fast Park (at the time it was $8 per day vs. $15 per day for the Parking Spot). They weren't quite as fast as the Parking Spot, but the price difference was substantial and the time difference was not huge. More recently, as the airport construction nears an end, the Parking Spot "suddenly" lowered their rates ($13+ per day). They even sent me a coupon for 30% off ($10.50 per day). Unfortunately, when I tried to use the coupon, it would not process. I tried this at least 6 different ways, triple checked the details of the coupon and even contacted the Parking Spot. Their response was mostly "disinterested" and did not really want to try to help. I eventually gave up and went with Fast Park ($9 still cheaper). My understanding is that the Parking Spot was sold last year and whatever the new management is doing, for this customer it is NOT the same Parking Spot. They just don't seem to be particularly interested in customer satisfaction and ease of use - at least that's my experience. I hope this info helps others make the best decision when choosing a parking service near the Pittsburgh airport. read more

I have been using the Parking Spot PIT since 2012. For most of that time they were the best game in town - fast, friendly, and cost efficient for business travel. Over the last few years, however, their service has declined significantly. Although the drivers are still friendly, they are often slow with dropping off and picking up from the airport. During my last trip with them, I waited for 15 minutes at my car to go to the airport and 20 to get picked up. During that time, I watched 3 separate Fast Park and Charlie Brown shuttles pick up. It seems they don't maintain enough drivers or shuttles for the demand. Once the new terminal renovations are complete and additional on-site parking is available, I suspect more people will just park at the airport. read more

Terrible experience. Arrived to p/u car at 1:00 AM Sunday morning. No one was there at the facility. The machine for paying was not working, and only one lane (of two) was open. Several cars also in the same lane could not get out. All the cars were blowing their horns and no one from the Parking Spot responded. 15 mins later, the gate finally got opened. I called the facility the next day and the supervisor said that nothing was wrong and the facility was staffed. read more

Not enough vans? Two Charlie Brown's parking vans picked up passengers at airport, as well as THREE from Fast Parking before a van came from The Parking Spot. The first van from The Parking Spot came by with only one open seat. There were two of us. Driver told us it would be an 8-10 minute wait but it was much longer than that. Came back from a 5 day trip to a flat tire. This may or may not have been a result of my parking spot but the customer service in support from this company was awful. I called three times before walking to the front office where I searched for an employee and finally found one who in my destress did not offer assistance and told me that it's safe to park here. I called AAA to assist me in putting my spare on in the dimly lit space. I will be choosing a different parking lot next time. read more

Great off-site Pittsburgh airport parking option. You reserve either via their mobile app or their website theparkingspot.com. They now have no contact checkin and out by scanning the QR code for your reservation at the gate entering and exiting. The have great deals going on all the time This weekend it was 30 percent off. And AAA has discounts, too. I paid just under 15 dollars for a 2 day stay that included a Saturday. And the best part? It is covered parking. You park your own car, keep your keys, and the shuttle comes to you, all under cover. Came in extra handy this weekend as it was raining heavily departing! Then coming back after midnight, I just called a number on a card they gave me, handed to the driver and the departing shuttle driver had written my parking spot on the card so easy for the arrival driver to take me right back to my car. read more

Just had bad experience at the Pittsburgh airport Parking Spot. Our QR code worked fine getting us in. When we were trying to depart it would not scan. This cannot have been the first time this ever happened. It took over 20 minutes for them to let us out! After a long flight when you just want to get home, that is unacceptable. read more

The service when we were departing for Europe was fine, but the return was horrible! Their business card they give out with your parking area # states, "shuttles every 15 minutes," that is simply a lie, false advertising, and misleading. Upon our very long travel day returning from Europe, we could see the PS shuttle outside of baggage claim. I had my bags and knew our husband would get his any minute. I went outside and talked to the driver and he said that he wouldn't wait and left. My husband came outside a minute later...we then waited another 25 minutes for a shuttle, after I called 2x for dispatch!!! In the meantime, we saw several Charlie Brown and The Fast Park shuttles picking up in that time span. We then needed to scan our parking code upon leaving the lot. We had already paid $185 IN ADVANCE to park there. Are you kidding me? Needless to say, we WILL NEVER USE The Parking Spot again. read more

I first used the Parking Spot for approximately 8 bucks a day for a week and was told you can download their app and just scan in and out with ease. I did this figuring I would have a great go to parking place the next time I traveled. I did it in good faith and the next time I scanned out it was 18.95 a day and was told because I didn't have a reservation I couldn't get the 8-12.95 a day rate. I have been a member for the past 10 years, or more. I went on line for a quote, and it was $8.00 an hour more than anyplace else, and that included my AAA discount. I called customer service, and i was told that is their holiday rates. I made reservations across the street at Charley Browns. Which also turned out to be a disaster. Waited 1/2 hour for pick up at door 8, called desk, told me I was standing at the wrong door, which was a lie. Then tried to charge me $25.00 more than the rate I was quoted. Think I will be using Uber going forward, less aggravation. read more

We parked here for 7 days. Great lot and secure. Loved that our vehicle was in a covered garage. We arrived and got quickly checked in. As soon as we parked and got our bags out, the van was there to take us to the airport. A very quick trip and nice driver that gave us a card to remind us of where our space was and had the number to call for a pick up upon return. When we returned from the trip, called the lot and within 10 minutes picked up and returned to our vehicle. Really it was the easiest part of our travel! Definitely will use this lot again when we go anywhere. read more

I would love to give this company a 5 star review because my person to person experience was friendly, responsive, and polite. The check in/out experience is easy, and airport pick up is fast. BUT, I have the receipt to prove that I filled my gas tank on the way to the airport, and when I got back from my week long trip, the gas tank was only half full. Was it intuition that made me curious about that and made me look at the guage as soon as I hit the ignition switch? I don't have any proof other than that, but pretty sure gas was siphoned out of my tank while I was gone. Again...OTHER THAN THAT, I would highly recommend The Parking Spot. read more

I recently parked here as a first timer. My initial experience was good and no issues. The second time was a " complete fail" . Van was 20 minutes late in picking us up at our vehicle and because I arrived a day earlier for my reservation, I was recalculated at an egregious amount for my stay. Also, I had to use a cc to enter the lot, and that swipe was stolen and test used locally nearby at a fast food restaurant. I had to cancel the card. I wrote a detailed message to support and received no response. Tried calling and no answer. Must be private equity owned; They lost me forever. Too bad I cannot rate 0 stars. on 4/23 waiting 40 mins for a parking spot vehicle ( only 2 running at 815 pm). A herd of people passed by me and started to enter the vehicle. I ran with my 2 & 7 yr old grandsons plus my handicapped husband and was told I cut in line. The one man yelled in my ear that he was going to " f**king kill me" I never felt so threatened, unsafe & scared . The driver of the vehicle tried to de - escalate the situation and let the man and his wife on but my family and I were too afraid to enter the vehicle. We ended up waiting an additional 20 mins . At PIT location - Their new system for checking out is completely inconvenient and confusing. The machine (to hold a QR code up to a scanner) is too high for passenger cars. I also drove by it and pulled up to the door of where an employee was sitting. After I backed up my car and strained to reach the QR reader, my charges were confusing. The employee could not explain my charges. I asked for a phone number so that I could call and talk to someone about my charges and my discounts and she said she didn't know any number to call. Their new system basically requires the customer to do all of the work, attempt to understand the charges, or hope they are correct, and leave. The customer is doing their work, and still charging ever-increasing prices. read more

Inexpensive and good value, but definitely did not plan for a needed extra 30 minutes. I expect I should have a shuttle that takes me to the airport. I didn't. Especially traveling with my family. Super pissed I had to wait another 30 minutes. Almost didn't make my flight. Nobody wants to feel rushed at 3AM with your family in tow. Run bigger busses and run them more often - especially two hours before airline boarding times. I miss the PIT stop. read more

I have used The Parking Spot in Pittsburgh for the nearly 5 yrs. and have been happy with there service. On our recent trip an attendant directed us to park in Row E and stated that the shuttle would be right over. Normally, you stand by your car and the shuttle comes within 5 min. The shuttle left, however, a new shuttle arrived stopping to talk to the lady attendant. Several other customers that were waiting in rows E and F stood there while the driver and the attendant talked. I told the other customers that I would walk over and let them know we were waiting for them. As I approached, the attendant yelled at me to go back to my car and wait. I informed her that several of us have been waiting for over 15 min. and needed to get to the airport. She was excessively rude. Upon our return, 3:00 Am on 5/24/23 the same lady attendant was there. Our shuttle was full and being exhausted, we were all anxious to get on the road to return home. The first driver to leave got stuck at the only open exit gate due to the card reader not working. The second gate to exit was coned off. I got out of my car and tried to assist. The customers stuck at the exit tried to ring into the attendent that was sitting in the entry booth. Finally, she slid open her door and yelled at the drivers try scanning again. The stuck customer walked over to her and told her the machine reader was not working. The attendant get extremely agitated exited her booth, which took approx. 4 to 5 min. due to her in ability to walk, to the exit machine to assist. At this point there were 8 cars lined up waiting to exit. She tried to assist the first driver with no success and then yelled at waiting customers to be patient. She told me to go to the coned off lane and she would process my prepaid parking account. Unfortunately, she could not get the gate to open. A shuttle driver arrived and she told him to try to get the gate to open. After a number of failed attempts, she struggled to get back out of her booth and worked on the gate mechanism to get the arm to raise for me. All of this took approx. 25 min. for us. As we exited the first driver was still stuck at the first exit gate and the remaining drivers remained. Historically, I am very sympathetic and want to empower individuals with disabilities. This individual was exceedingly rude and incompetent. I don't see myself or my family going back to Parking Spot. read more

I used The Parking Spot for business travel - meaning I need a valid receipt for my expense report. I used this service to park at Park 'N Fly near Cleveland Hopkins Airport in early March. I didn't get a receipt on check out and had to call Park 'N Fly to get any receipt. Unfortunately, it did not have the year of service on it (only days and month), so it is not valid in the eyes of my company. Park 'N Fly can't help me because I used The Parking Spot, but The Parking Spot has no working customer service phone line (when you call it actually says they are no longer taking calls), and they don't respond to emails - I've emailed both their customer service and legal addresses. I left a voicemail for the legal line which says will be returned in 48 hours - not true - never got a response. Seems I'll have to personally absorb that business expense. I'll never use them again - which means I'll never park at Park 'N Fly either since that is the service they choose to use for reservations (and Park 'N Fly provides a good service otherwise). read more

I was fed up with other airport parking companies, but still wanted to use an outside company to save some money. Last time I used another service, I vividly remember seeing The Parking Spot's bus multiple times while I waited for the company I was using at the time to come get me. When it came time to travel again, I knew I wanted to check out The Parking Spot. I love that the parking area is covered- making this an ideal place to leave your car in the winter or during other harsh weather conditions. We found our spot and were picked up a few minutes later. The driver gave us a card so we could easily remember where our car was parked. The airport is a quick drive away and our driver was very friendly. Getting picked up was just as easy. If you are traveling during typical hours, there is no need to call a number to request a shuttle- it is just there every 10-15 minutes. We waited no more than 5 minutes. Again, the driver was quite friendly and he dropped us off directly at our car. Checking out was a breeze and we were so surprised to see they handed us complimentary bottles of water for our drive back home. Considering you are more than likely pretty dehydrated after a long day of traveling, I thought this service is just incredible and way beyond anything I would expect. Overall, we were really pleased with The Parking Spot and I will absolutely be a repeat customer! P.S. Check out their website for coupons! read more

The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the price I paid. The service was horrible. Waited for 30 minutes for morning shuttle. Shuttle was picking up people who arrived later than we did first. Then on our return it was worst. They had 30 people waiting for one shuttle. Once again people who were waiting first were passed up. Finally 2 people in our group of 6 got on a shuttle then proceeded back to the airport to pick the rest of us up. Real convenient!!! As they say you get what you pay for. This is the second time we had bad service and it will be the last. Need a better system. If you are short drivers cut back your reservations. I will not be using. Parking Spot is my preferred airport parking in Pittsburgh. I came to them as an existing customer from the Atlanta location. I've used them over about 20 trips spanning three years. My experience with them has been mostly positive. I really like getting picked up and dropped off at the car - way easier than on-airport parking. Prices are also quite competitive, once you get either a coupon (always available on the website) or the corporate discount loyalty card (same discount as the coupon). Drivers are generally good with luggage and helpful. Wait times are mixed and depend on time of day. My average wait time for a pickup at my car is 2-5 minutes. Average wait time at the airport is about 10 minutes, but has been as high as over 20 minutes during off-peak hours. Using their mobile app to track the shuttles helps with this and allows you to call to summon a shuttle if necessary. It will still take it 10 minutes to get to you, though. Only big downside to The Parking Spot is that there is no place to charge your electric car. Long term parking at the airport has chargers and is fairly competitive, so sometimes if I need a charge I will park there. If The Parking Spot offered electric vehicle chargers I would probably never park anywhere else. Recommended. read more

We booked a reserved spot for Spring Break. We wanted to cancel due to COVID-19. Our airline, and hotel both cancelled graciously given the circumstances. However, the Parking Spot insisted that we pay for the reserved spot. Don't reserve a parking spot here because you will not get a refund if you cancel your trip. This place has been my #1 place to park when flying out of Pittsburgh for at least 10 years. The drivers used to be top notch, some still are, but overall, this place has gone down hill and I won't be parking here any longer. I had a reservation from 9/23/23 - 9/30/23. When we got there, there was no one in the booth, I get it, one less employee to pay. Upon finding a space, we saw a line of people waiting for a shuttle. This was around 6:00 AM, a very busy time to fly. We parked and got in line. It was at least 10 minutes before a shuttle came. Some of the people in line were very concerned because this is not how the Parking Spot has operated in the past; usually the driver was at the trunk of you car taking your luggage before you even locked your doors - no exaggeration. One person even tried calling to find out where the shuttle was but it was a recording. Shuttle finally came and luckily there was a seat for everyone. I felt bad for the driver, he was really hustling, one of the good current drivers. Upon returning home, I was charged $16 more than my reservation for 2 hours more than I reserved!!! I inadvertently reserved until 6:00 AM for my return when it should have been 10:00 AM. I wrote a review to tell of my experience and I got a phone call saying they give you a 2 hour grace period. No credit, no nothing!! Really, $8 an hour overage??? Thank God in Heaven I was not delayed! My advice, don't park here! It has gone down hill so much. I had two free days parking on this reservation and glad I used them as I won't be returning. I understand no one can find employees, but the overcharge has nothing to do with understaffing. read more

This was my first time using this service. I read the instructions on my reservation, then scanned my QR code upon arrival, and went to find a spot. It was unclear to me where the bus would pick me up, so I walked to what looked like it might be a station. The gate clerk yelled at me saying I drove off without telling her where I would park (how was I supposed to know when it was self parking?). I explained it was my first time using the service, that it wasn't clear in the instructions and I'd be happy to meet the driver wherever. She continued chastise me, insisting I should've told her where I would park before I left the gate -apparently the bus picks you up at your spot. Very unpleasant experience and when I looked back at the FAQs there was no explanation of that part of the process. No reason for her to speak to anyone the way she did, I'll chalk it up to her having a bad day, but after reading reviews it looks like this behavior is the standard for this location. read more

I now have to wait 15-20 minutes at Parking Spot, while they drive slowly around, waiting for more arriving customers, so they can totally fill the bus. It just doesn't work.
