We arrived in ingoldmells, me, my wife and two sons were starving. We went to eat at the pie palace, as on first appearance it was decorated to a decent standard, compared to a toilet in a two star hotel. There was nothing nearby so had no choice really. When we sat down, a couple nearby were just served their breakfast, which was pretty much the same as what we wanted. Within second, this bloke said these tomatoes are like f*****g ice! And he got up, took the plates over and slammed them on the counter, pushing right to the front of the queue. I should have gone right then, but my wide was already picking up our drinks after ordering. The tea was incredibly weak and tasteless, the mugs were dirty and chipped, so my 3 year old son had no drink. The bloke with the cold tomatoes, well his breakfast came back before ours, so I'm thinking that there was a microwave involved. If it was me, my business, I'd have cooked a fresh one and asked that they wait, along with an apology, but no. Their breakfast was still child, but they just are it anyway, as it was pointless complaining. (that's a small review on their behalf!) Anyway or breakfast arrived. For starters the mushroom (you only get one on a mighty breakfast) was raw, the beans were cold and hard, they had used the crust of the bread for the toast and fried bread and there was a ton of fat on the bacon which was undercooked. My wifes was the same and to top it all off the sausages were rock hard and overcooked to the max, the knives and forks were blunt and dirty, one of the sausages ended up on the floor, lucky i have Kids and always carry baby wipes with me so i could clean then to a near satisfactory standard. I wish that i could tell you that i had a nice experience, as i love to eat out a lot, but i can HONESTLY say that this was the worst breakfast I've ever tried to eat. We paid 9 quid for this. We all felt poorly after eating it. all in all a complete waste of time and money. I never thought that you could mess up a breakfast so bad. pointless complaining, would have been more time wasted. This place needs shutting down. To sum up, over priced breakfasts that will make a mess of your pants and make you wish you were dead.
