After arriving in Coburg late a couple of weekends ago, we discovered that most restaurants would only serve a limited menu so close to closing time. We reluctantly settled to dine at the Original China Town restaurant. I must admit the last thing I wanted to eat in Germany was Chinese food. We walked in fifteen minutes prior to closing, but we were greeted warmly. We sat down glanced at the menu and ordered our dishes. The food was unbelievable! Most definitely the best meal we had during our visit. Who would have thought? We order sizzling beef, bami goreng, and crispy duck. Every thing was cooked perfectly. The duck was probably the best duck I've ever eaten, crispy skin and juicy on the inside. I wish I would have taken pictures of the food. Even though by the end our meal it was well past closing time the server came to our table with complementary plum wine to finish off a delightful dinning experience.
