I was treating my sister to a helix piercing she has been wanting and had time for Saturday afternoon but didn't have any appointments made. I called here and Herbie, the piercer answered, and was able to provide me with prices, and confirmed he was accepting walk-ins, in a friendly tone and even introduced himself over the phone. We got there shortly after, met him and the shop owner. Signed paper work, got pierced and it was quick, got after care instructions. Overall 10/10 experience. Stopped by The Oracle last night for a walk in tattoo and I was super impressed! When we walked in we were greeted by Karin and Herbie. Both were so nice and helped us out right away. Herbie got me started on paperwork while he got in touch with an artist to do my tattoo. Andrew (I believe is his name, I hope I have that right!) got to the shop and immediately helped me with the tattoo that I wanted. Very pleased with the way it turned out. Went there to get a piercing and a consultation for my industrial that I got done somewhere else. Herbie was so knowledgeable and helped me decide on the right piercing for my ear. I asked him about some other piercings I wanted to get done and he had so much experience with piercing placement the body/muscles/ healing and treatment. This is the place to go for great quality in a tattoo! The price was also very reasonable and affordable! Karin did amazing work! I went in with an idea of what I wanted to get. She and I went over a few things to tweek it to more of what I wanted! Having only met her for the first time, she knows her stuff very well! Her suggestions only made the art so much more symbolic to me! She took care when placing the stencil so that it was straight. She even considered that it could hurt a little and had a spray for that too! Her lines were sharp and straight! It was the best experience getting a tattoo that I've had thus far! She took the terrible work I had done on my arm from some "Professional" and completely made it her own all the while incorporating all my ideas. Karin was referred to me by someone that I noticed in a shop with an intricate tattoo, well done and looked to have the detail I was seeking for my next one. I immediately contacted her, asked her to help me with a cover-up of a poorly planned lion tattoo on my arm I had done when I was a younger. We had an initial meeting to discuss what I was looking for; I left the artwork up to her once I gave my general description. Returned a week or so later and we sat down and I was happy with her proposal. Initial consult and tattoo approval was conducted very professionally and Karin was also fun to chat with. About the work: Her studio is clean, her process for laying out tools and clearing/cleaning her work space is impressive. She has non-compromising rules to follow while in her workspace. With regards to cleanliness and professional conduct I would recommend her to my closest family members. My work took four sessions, every session was three hours with exception of the last at about two hours. She is very conscientious of your comfort and her work is awesome. As long as I live in this area, she will be the only artist I go to for more work. Great artist and a genuine good person. Recommend you visit her and see for yourself! read more
