Dan was incredible through and through. He explained everything very thoroughly to my partner and what to expect with healing. He even explained what the best type of jewelry was to start with given my fiancé's line of work in having to keep piercings hidden. For me, Dan took into consideration my profession and how a tragus may not be the best choice given that I have a stethoscope in my ears a lot. He suggested a conch piercing instead and I went with it. It was SO quick and effortless. Dan was incredible and I will be booking all my future appointments with him. He was so kind and it shows that he's really invested in this line of work and very passionate about his craft.

That's why I genuinely taken aback by the length and tone of their response below. I'm not quite sure what they intended it to prove My review doesn't claim that they never replied. It explicitly says that I eventually received a response over a week later. I emailed them a few times during that time. By my third message, I'd explained the piercing was red, bleeding and producing green discharge, and that I was considering urgent care but understood it was better to consult the piercer first. I asked what I should do. I could have just come into the shop, but wanted to be respectful and ask first. A reply ten days after my first email isn't useful aftercare. In their public response below, Enigma claims that they first replied on May 26. After posting that response, they emailed me privately. They didn't repeat the May 26 claim in their email but did attach screenshots of their previous replies. Both screenshots are dated June 5, so 10 days after my original email. May 26 is the date I emailed them, not a reply from them. I've checked my inbox to make sure and there is no response from Enigma on May 26. They also admit that another more recent email "slipped through the cracks." When they finally replied on June 5, one email gave me Evan's working days and the other advised coming in to change the ring to a straight post. But by then, the problem had already healed up, so the advice was no longer useful. My complaint isn't about what they eventually said, it's that it took ten days and repeated messages to receive any help. Honestly, if the intention was to show that my review was unfair, sending me evidence of the very thing I complained about is an odd way to go about it. I stand by every word.

I understand that everybodies anatomy is different and it could cause a slight tilt on the piercing but it's been weeks since I got the piercing and looking at it now with no more swelling or redness it is almost ridiculous how off the piercing is. It's very obvious and disappointing how crooked it is. I even went home to my home piercer and even he left a comment saying that it was done very poorly. Loved the service and friendliness but unfortunately Im going to take out the piecing let it heal and then get it redone somewhere else. I want to prefaced that I really hate leaving a bad review and I tried to convince myself that it was fine but honestly just the comments I get from my friends and even another piercer about how it looks just kind of made me feel like I needed to share my honest experience.

As soon as I walked in, Wael was so welcoming and walked me through every part of the piercing process. He also noticed that my daith was infected (got that at another place) and was kind enough to clean it, along with my other piercings for me!! I had…read moreit pierced back in 2009, put a tiny gold hoop in 2013 and I'm not sure how it came out because this thing was in secure to the point I even had to put tape over it for surgeries. It was only out for one day but was starting to close from the inside. Vino was able to poke my ring back through. He even gave me tips on how to keep the opening from the skin on the inside of my nose so it doesn't grow around it when it heals again.

Piercing for lobes was $80, I've seen many other places more in the $30-$50 range. That said, I felt super comfortable. The inside was very clean and I was helped quickly with friendly staff. Bradlee did my ears and was excellent at placement and very little pain at all. Healing was quick and noneventful. The jewelry selection is awesome and extensive, but it is all BVLA which is best in class and priced as such. No single stud was rly less than $180, so be prepared to spend at least around $200 for any one earring. Everything felt very sterile and clean, if you're willing to pay a little premium I do think you get that experience.

When I started looking for somewhere to get my ears pierced, I specifically wanted a piercing…read morestudio rather than a tattoo shop. Rose Body Piercing was exactly what I was looking for. It's a nice space that focuses on piercing, and I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. I called about two weeks ahead to schedule and was sent a link to book online. I was able to get the exact date and time I wanted and received both email and text confirmations/reminders before my appointment. I booked with Brielle! I went on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of metered street parking available. The building is gated, but they send you instructions ahead of time explaining how to get in, so it was easy to find my way. The studio itself is small but really cute, and both the studio and piercing room felt very clean. I came in to get a third piercing on both of my earlobes. Brielle showed me the jewelry options first, and there was a nice selection at different price points. After filling out a form, we went into the piercing room. She cleaned my ears, wore gloves, and I felt completely comfortable with the hygiene process. She took her time marking the placement of both piercings and let me look in the mirror and approve everything before she started. She also talked me through what she was doing before and during the piercing, which helped me feel relaxed. I wouldn't say it was painless , but it was very quick and simple! Afterward, she explained how to care for the piercings and gave me saline solution to take home, which also has the aftercare directions on the bottle. I'll need to come back in about 4-6 weeks to have the backs downsized. Brielle was friendly, professional and made the whole experience really easy. Most importantly, I was very happy with the placement and how my earrings looked when I left. I would definitely recommend Rose Body Piercing and would come back here for any future piercings!
