Lots of great equipment and a sauna which is a huge plus for me. Only downside is that it's usually very crowded.

Let me start with the good because it's deserved…read more The renovation at this 24 Hour Fitness in Imperial Marketplace is actually really nice. The gym floor looks modern, clean, and updated. New equipment, better layout, brighter lighting...honestly, I love it. It finally feels like this gym joined the current decade, and I genuinely enjoy working out here now. HOWEVER. The sauna and steam room smell like hot gym socks that have lived through several questionable life choices. And not a subtle smell either. It's the kind of aroma that punches you in the face the second you walk in and makes you whisper, "Oh no... absolutely not." And just when I thought it couldn't get worse, I witnessed a grown man SPIT in the sauna. I froze. I blinked. I questioned reality. Sir... WHAT IN THE FRESH HECK IS GOING ON HERE??? I had to leave immediately, not because of the heat, but because my soul needed a shower. Now let's talk about the pool and jacuzzi. They look... suspicious. Like science experiment energy. Cloudy water, grimy edges, and overall giving "maybe don't submerge your body here" vibes. At one point, the county health department shut them down due to lack of maintenance......and honestly, that tracks. Because the condition I've seen lately does not scream "sparkling clean oasis." Which is unfortunate, because the rest of the gym is great. The weight room? Love it. Cardio machines? Solid. But the wet areas feel like they were forgotten in a different timeline where cleaning schedules were optional. I really want to love this place fully. I do. But I shouldn't have to emotionally prepare myself before entering the sauna like I'm walking into a haunted house. And I definitely shouldn't be witnessing surprise bodily sound effects in shared spaces. Please: * Deep clean the sauna and steam room * Keep an eye on the pool and jacuzzi * Maybe add a sign that says "This is not a spittoon" because apparently that needs to be clarified Until then, I'll happily enjoy the beautifully renovated gym floor and pretend the rest of the amenities are a myth.

She glances at me and starts talking to him again. I'm just standing there waiting patiently and I notice in my peripheral vision that she stares at me one more time. Decides to not even talk to me at all and glances back at him talking about things not related to work at all, lol. To grab her attention I had to glare at her to which the guy notices and points towards me to actually talk to me. She doesn't say good morning at all, or.. anything at all matter of fact. So I have to properly greet myself and let her know what I was there for, to activate my 3-day free pass. Three words only came out of her mouth; read the sign, while pointing at it. Yeah, no. I couldn't read it, BECAUSE IT WAS ORIENTED IN A MANNER THAT I COULDN'T READ IT. Those were the only three words that came out of her mouth, right after that she just went back to straight yapping which was hysterical. If I entered the gym and saw the huge pink sign properly displayed, maybe I would've read it and went "Oh gee, maybe I can't do this 3-day free pass thing!" I had to go through a solid 5 minutes of her glancing and ignoring me just for the big reveal that it was on a sign that literally in an orientation that I wasn't able to read when walking in.

The thing that was initially appealing about Fit was the gym and facilities being so nice. And they…read moretruly are super nice, it's a motivating place to come workout. Beyond that, I have been benefitting a ton from the initial consultation and pt with Ghyslain! He's awesome to work with, like genuinely knowledgeable, very experienced, professional and fun to be around. The way he honed in on exercises that I needed and the little tweaks he makes to form while I'm lifting is incredibly helpful. I feel like I've been learning a lot from him and plan to continue the pt at least until the end of the month! I've made it to a couple of classes so far and have really loved them too (including Natalie's hot yoga!!). I think once I get more comfortable and a bit stronger from the workouts I'm learning in pt then I'll start making it to more of the classes and more frequently. Thank you again for being so welcoming and accommodating for us throughout the signup process!

It doesn't end there, if you're there around lunch time, you can get yourself a delicious smoothie, power bowl or a margarita while soaking in the sun, sitting under a cabana or a beach chair. Literally does not get any better. Everytime I hit the gym feels like vacation. I love their classes, access to the plunge pools and all their amenities like eucalyptus cool towels. Not even Lifetime offers that and they charge an extra $150 for their monthly memberships. Shout out to Jared for setting me up.

The gym itself is fine. There's enough equipment for you to get a decent workout in. Machines are a…read morebit dated but work (i.e. smith machine doesn't lock in place and shakes as you use it). I had a good experience up here until one night I got 3 back to back calls at almost 8pm on a weeknight. I called back after finishing up dinner and was told my membership is being canceled because I vandalized the gym (which I did not do). Long story short, another Asian woman at the gym used chalk to draw on the wall and they assumed it was me. I saw her do it so I was able to defend myself. I didn't get an apology and I expressed my disappointment with the way this was handled to the owner via email. If you look at any of their responses to low ratings you can guess how this interaction went. There was no accountability, ownership, or even empathy. Not a single apology for the abrupt accusation and also the misidentification. Instead they said that I don't respect their property. I wipe the equipment every time I'm done using it, I put the weights away when I'm done, etc. I personally didn't think drawing chalk on a wall was considered vandalism since you could just rub it off the wall. I also had never seen that woman before so I thought maybe she worked there and was drawing something -- either way it's not my business. There are cameras in the gym for a reason, why am I in the wrong for not snitching in this situation? The accusation itself was an issue that I thought could've easily been resolved with an apology and reassurance that it'll be handled with more care if a similar situation happens in the future. The way this matter was actually handled is even more disappointing and so unprofessional. I know I'll get a wild response from management for this review, but this is your fair warning that there's absolutely accountability or empathy coming from the folks who own this gym.

Great stop. Has everything you need plus towel service which is nice. The staff was also nice.read more
