I went to enquire and found not one staff member on the floor. Even the lady cutting the prime rib roast was gone from her station. We left and found another place serving breakfast.

Cozy atmosphere, good food, and decent service, it always ends in a great night, with a great tip for the server. I dont think we've ever spent less than $200 in there to be honest. Tonight changed that. My parents headed there this evening for a Mother's Day supper. They ate, paid their bill and started to head out when my Dad had the urge to use the washroom before making the trip home. He hasnt been feeling very good the passed few days, but he made an effort to do something for my mom. While she headed out to the truck to wait for him, he entered the washroom. Few minutes passed, before someone was banging on the door. To his surprise, he was being asked to leave. Surprised by this, he asked what the problem was. Well, they just assumed he was trying to sleep in the bathroom, that sometimes people like him come in there and try to sleep in the stalls. Are you fkn kidding me?? Few comments were made back and forth, before he left the building. Not only was he discriminated, he was harassed, stereotyped and humiliated in front of other patrons before being escorted out of the building, after being grabbed by his arm. How embarrassing and sad. Needless to say, we will NEVER set foot in that restaurant again. Racism is alive and well at Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House

My server was courteous, helpful, checked on me numerous times, and the food was hot and plentiful. I don't eat out much but would recommend this place - especially if you are having a later lunch where theres less of a crowd. Lunch was great - thanks again!

First time here, and being a Tuesday (all you can eat fish) it probably wasn't a good time. From…read morethe time I walked in, I had a 10 min wait to be seated cause the cashier is right there and everyone leaving has priority (which is not the way a business should be) They cleared a table and wiped down the seat for me, which was fine, but the cloth must have been soaking wet, cause I actually had to use my hand to wipe the water off the seat before sitting down. The other issue I had is with the location of my table, for every time the door opened I was blasted by the cold from outside. I think maybe a porch area would help. After 5 mins I got to order my drink (diet pop) and when that came it was so flat that it was just coloured water. And the server left without taking my order. So after another 5 or so mins they came back and I ordered the Special. When the meal came the fish was nice and hot, and pleased with the portion size. However, the fries that come with it were nearly non existent. Maybe a dozen. Once I finished, I wanted more fish, but for the life of me I couldn't get the servers attention. I was out of pop and wanting to eat. Took about 15 mins before I got their attention. When they came with the fish, it was a drive by. Walked by, dropped plate on the other side of the table (cause they didn't remove my first plate), and kept on going. I was nearly finished my second helping when they stopped by (for the first time since eating) to see how things were, in which I asked for more pop! Quickest service of the evening was getting my bill. I'll prob go back again, someday, but not on a Tuesday. It was a busy day, but you know the saying, first impressions are everything.
