I spent $850 with Anca to get a personalized program that would suit me and be sustainable. I had 2…read moreappointments with her and was supposed to have a third to go over my DNA test results but after losing my Mum, I was late to reply back to an email but once I did, I never heard back from her again. The program she wrote out for me was not personalized to suit me at all, it was very generic and my grocery bill to purchase everything I was told was over $250 weekly and that was just to cover myself, then I still had another 2 mouths to feed. It was also too much food for me and made me gag to be eating so many vegetables so frequently. I was also told to cut back my exercise drastically and to walk one hour daily which is something I didn't enjoy doing. I was told to throw out all of my supplements and purchase new ones that were a different brand - despite having stocked up for the next 3 months and repurchasing new supplements would have been hundreds of dollars. I have since seen another dietician who was a fraction of the cost and who listened to me with what I enjoy doing, I have been able to maintain his program and I have seen results. Just because someone is expensive, does not mean they are good or going to help you achieve what you need
