The ladies shoes in my opinion, provide a cheap avenue for women watching to achieve a look that shadows ideas of rockabilly and psychobilly. Lots of synthetic printed heels with images of tattoo roses, bow and arrow love hearts, anchors, and jolly rogers. Some of the shoes were actually pretty unique: there were a great little pair of pumps that had emu feather designs printed all over them that quite took my fancy.
The owners seemed overly suspicious of me wandering through their stocks and seemed relieved when I left. Maybe it's just me, but I like to feel welcome at whatever shop I go into, but maybe these guys could just tell that their goods weren't for me. read more
