We had friends originally from Italy who used to always host us for apertivo-type meals, and we've always enjoyed the concept of plentiful variety, instead of just a main entree. Pricing was phenomenal! The drink photo I posted equated to about $8 USD, which included the all-you-can-eat buffet. It was about an additional $1USD to add on the buffet​ as if the drink itself for about $7USD wasn't already a deal. What an absolute steal, especially when compared to what this would cost in San Francisco! Of course, given the bargain-basement​ price, this is far from high-end​ food, and I'm pretty sure they're not using fresh homemade artisanal​ pasta, but definitely a good variety of tasty food. Lots of pasta, fresh veggies, and all tasty. Just don't come expecting meat dishes. At least they weren't serving any meat last night. I don't speak Italian- the owner spoke English and made me feel extremely welcome. fantastic mostly vegetarian dishes close to where I was staying so I will certainly seek out new restaurants when I come back to bologna this is a restaurant where I feel at home.
