I had a judge who was very displeased with me, an attorney who wasn't representing me and hurting my case and I was terrified. Ron accepted my case when no other attorney in Columbus would help. He was able to place me in a much better standing with our judge and saved my case. I wouldn't have won anything if it wasn't for him. His firm saw me as a person; not a billable number. They are calm, professional and truly care about you and your family. Not only does this firm aggressively and assertively work for the best interest of your family; but they provide logical, no-nonsense guidance. There is no other firm who will be there for your family the way that Petroff Law Offices will. I can never thank this firm enough. When they work for you; you'll understand why.

As I'm not getting any younger, I reached out to my uncle, who is an attorney in another specialty, to seek a referral for writing my last will and other related legal documents. My uncle worked with David Bale decades ago and could attest to how thoughtful and thorough he was. This certainly proved to be the case. I made first contact via his website and received a prompt response including details about the price, process and expectations. His responsiveness was impeccable from start to finish. In those early emails he provided me with all the materials I needed to be prepared for our first meeting. I greatly appreciated this because when you pay by the hour, time is essentially money. During our first meeting he gently asked informed questions to ensure that he was accurately capturing my intentions. When applicable, he presented several options for me to choose what best suited my needs. After the meeting Mr. Bale drafted all of the necessary documents and emailed them to me for proofing and updating. This was a seamless and efficient process that I feel also saved time and money. Once documents were reviewed, we set our final meeting which included signing, notary services and receipt of official documents & copies thereof. All documents were also provided to me electronically as well. I was quoted $750 for the entire process and we stayed on target. He was kind and made an effort to get to know me in effort to help me make more informed decisions.

I had contacted the Mr bale's office via yelp after reading the reviews here. Honestly people…read moreshould review attorneys and others like inspection services, title agencies etc. I believe this area is life changing and needs more focus rather than just restaurants(Which is important too ). I am going to make sure i will review in the most unbiased and descriptive way of all kind of services and people i come across to give a clearer picture to someone who comes after me. Moving on to the main topic, Mr bale was contacted for legal counsel on home closing/real estate. Many attorneys i spoke to required a paid consultation to explain my issue whereas Mr David Bale made sure he had a brief conversation firstly by emails and a short call to understand my requirement of legal counsel totally free. This opens up a window to communicate if you really need a counsel or it is too early or late. Based on his genuine suggestions and advices during our short call i can tell how knowledgeable and experienced he is and i am pretty sure he has dealt with varied real estate related legal situations. In terms of fees, they were reasonable and i think they are standard across all columbus. It is a hard decision to pick an attorney from a plethora of choices on the internet, and i hope my review helps somebody.

The only reason I did not give five stars is because due to covid, everything was over telephone or email, though not their fault by any means, I am just definitely an in-person kinda of person who likes to build relationships face-to-face and have the opportunity to read body language and get nonverbal feedback. Additionally almost all my interaction was with Emily who, I believe is his paralegal. Emily Cooner would get six stars if I could review her individually. She was beyond understanding of my situation. Having never experienced the legal system before, she did an impeccable job at easing my anxieties, answered all my questions and absolutely never made me feel like I was asking a stupid question. With that being said, I do wish I had more interaction with Tomas as he was my primary attorney. In addition to more communication with him, I would have been beyond grateful and appreciative if I was given the opportunity to have at least one in-person sit down before meeting for the first time at the courthouse. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Joslyn Law Firm. Very professional and outstanding communication.
