I can't recommend this place highly enough. I've been trying to learn to play guitar for ages and have bought my electric and bass guitars here. The staff could not be more helpful - as happy to spend time with a complete novice as with an experienced player. The shop is a treasure trove of instruments. If you are looking for anything musical in the Lanarkshire area, give these guys a try. Sure, you can buy online, but there is nothing like the magic of trying an instrument and getting the right advice for yourself. read more

This place has been here forever. Music stores are few and far between outside of the City Centre and this one is a charmer. They have a good range of guitars including acoustics plus banjos, mandolin and ALOT of accessories. There's not much you wont find in here. It's friendly and welcoming, without the usual intimidation of young musicians following you around trying to convince you what you 'should' buy. Great for accessories, sheet music and repairs. read more

There is very little space and stuff is stacked on top of other stuff. However, the staff are friendly and helpful and do their best to provide what they think is the best product to meet the needs of their customers. However, there are times that staff are too busy chatting to friends rather than serving customers. Two customers in the shop make it feel crowded and you might be mistaken for thinking it is more like a junk shop. Worth a visit for second hand deals from time to time.
