We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the The More Hotel in Lund. It's a modern hotel just on the edge of the old part of Lund with easy access to and from the Göteborg-Malmö freeway. The hotel is built in the shell of an old railroad engine house and they use the railway theme to decorate the lobby and hallways.
The staff was very helpful, the room (with a fridge and stove top) was bright and sunny, the bed was comfy, there was plenty of parking, and the breakfast (included) was a huge buffet with everything from pastry and skyr to eggs and cheese.
We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant or the outdoor v=bar with a pizza oven, but they looked inviting.
My only complaint: whoever designed the lighting over the sink obviously does not shave.
One word of caution: GPS had us turn into the pedestrian walkway south of the hotel. Oops! The entrance is in fact on the north side.
And just in case you're wondering, I have no idea why it's called the "More" hotel. read more
