It features your regular high street shops, including large branches of Woolworths and Boots, and also other shops including Game, WH Smiths, Waitrose, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Claire's Accessories, La Senza, Next and Superdrug. It is good for picking up basic items. You wouln't go there if you were having a shopping spree as there aren't that many shops so your options are quite limited. Parking is adequate, and not excessively priced (free on Sundays). The car park can get full at peak periods such as Christmas.

Recently hook tescos have been introducing more tescos value products which seem to be in more demand, and also improving the store, the latest being the self service tills and the coin counter! This store is too small for a clothes section but there is a tiny homewear section which seems to supply a different variety of bits (saucepans, pots, toastie machines, glasses. (but this varies every few months) a tiny deli and fish counter and also a small section that changes to season wether it be easter or xmas. what i dont like about hook tescos is that if you go up the road to a bigger store, say chineham or even the meadows then you will find the same item but cheaper in these bigger stores then the smaller tescos. However i do think tescos is a lovely well set out store and the staff are generally very helpful and friendly.

At weekends sometimes there is also a Van that parks right in the middle of the shopping centre and serves very tasty food. You can also sit outside to eat this as there are usually table and chairs provided. I shop here quite often and as I don't drive it is very handy as there is a bus stop which drops you right off at the Shopping Centre. If you fancy a short walk there are quite pleasant woods that you could wander round just across the road from the Centre.
