Looking for cheap accommodation where I didn't have to set up a tent or run to the dunnies through the bush and fight off the roos or slumbering wombats... Well this is the place in Mullum! ( what the locals call the town) Yeah it is basic, toilet /shower/ down the hall but the bed is comfortable and the meals are ready down stairs. There are plenty of local lads to chat to at the bars. I can stagger to bed after a few drinks and not even worry about being breathalysed. Who could ask for more! read more

We were told this was a good place to eat and I'm sad to say Not. The service, hygiene and quality of food was a huge disappointment. Asking for a cloth to wipe the sticky table was greeted with a roll of the eyes and attitude. Once upon a time it was the thing to serve food on a bread board, however, after a while in this case I'm thinking a few years, the wood being a porous material becomes a festering, bacteria soaked petri dish. The food was pre-packaged frozen grey fish and pasty potato chips made of reconstituted sqwit and reminded me of something you may have received in some unfortunate hospital. read more

Yep, great location, excellent value $15 meals with a wide selection and great places to sit indoors or up on the large wide balcony overlooking the streets of Mullum and rural landscapes beyond. Good beer, wine and music and a range of areas around the pub for different groups and preferences. read more
