One of the best meals we've ever had. Three of our party were pretty drunk and I have to say it just got better and better! The food, service, views, and experience are hard to beat. The service was above and beyond. Everyone was not only friendly and courteous but was genuine and made the experience fun as well as sophisticated. They timed the arrival of every food plate perfectly and made each person feel special and important. The food was beyond any of our expectations not a single course was bad in any manner. The courses were not too big or too small (about 2x4 cm on average) and were absolutely amazingly delicious. Everything was fresh, delicate, and perfectly prepared. The wines they recommended we pair our food with absolutely perfected with each course and enhanced the food without overpowering it. Overall an amazing once in a lifetime meal and experience that is a must for any trip to Samarqand. If we ever pass by again and can get a reservation we will be going again! read more

They don't know how to actually write good stories so they resort to trying to make "scathing stories" and enjoy sensationalizing topics just for more viewers. At the end of the day, the Daily needs to understand that they're quite irrelevant on campus - I don't know a single person who casually reads the Daily on campus - and they whole thing is quite embarrassing for McGill's reputation. They're not going to become more popular by dragging student organizations in the mud (sorry guys!) and everyone just ends up laughing at what they put out. Pro tip: you guys want actual jobs in the writing industry? Put effort into writing good, honest stories! read more

As soon as I had set eyes on the McGill daily's latest release, I knew it would make the perfect snack. Such crumply paper, such delicious ink. After I took my first bite, I felt euphoric and overwhelmed with ataraxia. It smelled like hard work and bohemian attitudes toward authority. As a nursing student, I am constantly using newspapers to put in the bottom of my locker at the hospital so my snowy boots dont ruin the metal. the McGill Daily made a perfect, absolutely absorbent little locker padding! Who would've thought! read more

The ink quality is low, because when I read the McGill Daily while I procrastinate, my tears falling on the paper smudges the writing. I think it they need to review who their ink provider is. Great content. Website is cool. read more
