Despite requesting outside evaluations at the school's suggestion and multiple professionals stating there were no concerns other than the environment and the teacher, the schools concerns remained, and after voicing them to administration we were told unfortunately there was nothing they can do. We were repeatedly asked to pick up early for typical preschool behaviors such as tantrums or not napping, despite paying for full-day care until 530 pm. We ultimately felt the classroom lacked the warmth, support, and developmental understanding young children need, and hope the school reviews staffing, training, and support so other families do not have a similar experience. Truly a terrible experience for any child that is energetic or needs a bit of extra support. The owners should really evaluate what criteria is necessary for a teacher other than just credentials.

It gave me the chance to see where my daughter spends her days, and that experience meant more to me than I can put into words. From the warm welcome I received from the director, Kristine, I immediately knew my daughter was in the right place. Kristine introduced me to her teacher, "MJ" who was genuinely excited to meet me and finally meet my daughter's father for the first time. I'll be honest because of my work schedule, I've missed many of the drop offs and pick-ups. But seeing the difference in my daughter when I come home from work has always made me appreciate the people who help shape her when I'm not there. At just three years old, my daughter can articulate her thoughts, carry on conversations, and express herself in ways that truly amaze me. Yes, I read books with her before bedtime and do everything I can as a father, but I also recognize the incredible role her teachers play in helping her learn, grow, communicate, and develop. I want to sincerely thank Little Heroes. The name truly fits because our children are all little heroes, and the people at Little Heroes are helping mold, teach, and prepare them for the future. They are currently 5-8th grade; but, that could change the more WCA becomes well known. The curriculum is outstanding and the teachers with many years of experience care and let you know how your child is doing and what areas to help your child focus on. The children love WCA and are always helping each other and very supportive. They all love choir which I believes helps them focus a lot on their work. I'm so ever grateful for Mrs. Anna Oaks ( the founder of Wellington Collegiate Academy). Two week prior to the alleged incident the director was ever so kind as to provide us with resources for my son and assured us that as long as we sought help from these resources. Before my sons first evaluation they expelled him. Mind you he was physically assaulted by another student twice in the form of bites on his back and that student is still there. They never tried to separate the children nothing. They branded my child and expelled him because they didn't want to deal with my sons sort comings. He has since had his evaluation from home safe one of the resources they provided and I think I may take the advice given to me during his evaluation and seek legal representation about this whole incident with the planet kids franchise.

The class sizes were just too large for our child. The child to teacher ratios didn't fit our son's needs. He was having a lot of behavior issues he had never had before, he was bit by another student on his first day and it just kinda spiraled from there. Our son went from being home with us, to a class of 20 with only 2 teachers and it was very overwhelming unfortunately. We really noticed the difference once we moved him to a smaller daycare. His vocabulary and behavior improved significantly moving to a smaller class size. I would definitely recommend Kingswood if your child handles large class sizes well or if your child has always been used to that type of environment. The teachers are very nice and friendly, the amenities are very clean and up to date. They have lots of fun activities for the kids throughout the year. Just really didn't work for our child.

We reserved a space for her at the Academy when she was just 1 year old. Hilary loved every single day she went there. The counselors were like family and really cared for the kids. We never worried for a second while she was there. I'm putting together a traditional charm bracelet for her and asked her to give me a list of the most important things from her life thus far. The Academy for Little People was on that list. I'm hoping to get an official Academy charm or to have one made from their logo. We will never forget our family experience at the Academy!
