There is always a good variety of drinks available with a choice of ales to try. This is definitely our favourite local pub and I would recommend to family and​ friends to try it whether it for a drink out or a meal

Tried the recently refurbished ring o bells…read more Out of five orders, two were wrong, one cold, one literally uncooked and one had been forgotten.. Although they tried to fix this, they told us we couldn't have a particular sauce.. Because they didn't sell it... (Points at menu) oh.. Umm.. Ok... Then they threw away one order entirely..?! "we thought you didn't want it"!! (It was supposed to have gone back to be cooked) We were refunded cost of meal, but new landlady obviously did not like to be told it was poor... I said that I didn't think we would be back for a while at least.. Her response? "Sniff.. I got that impression".. (She then walked off) A complete shambles... Which is a shame as its decorated nicely and in general staff seem keen to please (if they don't yet know what they sell)... Perhaps in six months when they have had time to train staff and replace the completely inept kitchen staff?..
