We were staying at the top of the hill, we saw this spot on our way down into town. It was outside the city center and we knew we should try it. "Are you looking for real beer?" was our greeting. We saw a list of Belgian beers on the chalk board, and we knew we had found our place. John was an excellent tour guide through many of the selections we had to choose from. We also had fantastic food. The chicken satay was incredible and a nice change from typical German fare. What a nice surprise in this small town.
