This shop offers such a cool experience! Multiple different store fronts in one place. There is a great selection of local goods. There is produce, flowers, coffee, cheeses and meats, and wine. I loved supporting these local businesses and left with many great snacks, beautiful flowers, and a few bottles of wine to try.

When we come to The Market, my husband and I definitely gravitate towards The Cheese Lady. We have grabbed items from Dad's Cafe as well, but I will admit we haven't hit up all the shops within the confines of The Market. Located on Main Street, The Market serves as an indoor farmers market that is open all year. With multiple vendors that tend to have one specific focus each, they work together to make a unique experience. Dad's Cafe serves up hot food that is created with farm fresh ingredients and if it involves cheese, they often use The Cheese Lady cheese. Coffee, wine, hot food, home decor, all the fixings for a perfect charcuterie board, and all in one easy spot. If you like the idea of farmers market products any day of the year, The Market is definitely a spot to check out.

Seriously.! You can't shovel in front of your store ... someone had the nerve to say it's the City's responsibility... reallly ? It's not your responsibility to make sure people can enter and leave safely? You want our money /patronage but won't make an effort to shovel the sidewalk? Ten feet from you ... they managed to shovel .. or did they call the city to do it! Respect your customers!

Loved this local St. Joseph Market! The Market has the feeling of a mini Faneuil Hall or Pike Marketplace. The Cheese Lady, Tea Annex, and Community Tap Room are just a few of the shops featured at The Market, offering local flavors including a huge variety of gourmet cheese, interesting tea varieties and fun libations! There is also a small farm shop selling local fresh produce, soaps and snack items, and a gift shop with great hostess gifts and household items including candles, jewelry, scarves, handbags, notecards, and more! There are two eateries in the Market and a casual seating area with long wooden tables and benches for enjoying the local foodstuffs and beverages on site. Street parking directly in front of The Market made for easy access. I would highly recommend checking it out!

This place is a one stop shop! The Market has small shops/restaurants on the perimeter with open tables/seating in the middle. There's everything- a wine shop, a cheese shop, coffee shop, tea shop, brewery and bites. I fell in love with a few things from the gift shop right when you walk in as well as The Cheese Lady, wine shop and ended up leaving with a London Fog tea. Dogs are allowed:) Pricing is all different from the different vendors - my cheese and wine were at great price points for entertaining! The town definitely needs a stop light at their corner though as it's difficult to get across and there's not a cross walk for another block up.

Food- picked up from the different vendors, cheese, crackers, and potato salad. All were delicious. Service- good Ambiance- indoor market with various vendors Would recommend going into the market to buy food for a day at the beach. Everything we bought was fresh but be prepared to pay for quality foods.

I love coming here for a girls day or night out. Low stress, cozy, and lots to choose from. I always end up staying longer than anticipated.

Parking was surprisingly easy, and once we got started, it was a block and a half of a good time. Now, we did not buy much, but we did enjoy seeing everything and talking to a few people. We were especially excited to buy fruit directly from the farmers! I got a bunch of peaches and nectarines, and let me say I have never in my life tasted such good fruit! I also tried the homemade strawberry & rhubarb pie, and bought the homemade honey with cinnamon. I also especially liked how the Farmer's Market overlooked Silver Beach. It was a nice time, and I look forward to going back before the Farmer's Market season ends this year! The menu has so many interesting and tasty options that it makes it hard to choose what to order first. I got the steak bowl, which comes with an egg and plenty of sautéed peppers, onions and potatoes. Highly recommend. Even the drink options are exciting. Locally made cherry limeade?! Yes please! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly. Even though you are in the middle of an open-concept business collective, the layout of the restaurant space makes you feel like you are in someone's giant, awesome home kitchen and you can watch as your meal is made. It took me a moment to put my finger on it, but this place gives you the reassurance that your meal is being made by people who enjoy good food. As someone who loves to cook and is on the tail end of a road trip, this was the most relaxed and enjoyable meal I've had in a while. I enjoyed it on so many levels. The restaurant is tucked away inside of a bigger collective of stores, one of which is Dad's Farm, a little grocery with a nice collection of packaged and frozen locally sourced foods. There are other shops in the collective including a coffee shop, brewery, cheese shop, wine shop, and gift shop with great art, cards, jewelry and other clever gifts. It's a nice group of shops where you can pick up some great souvenirs. A quick note about the entrance to the collective: it was not obvious to me, though I might have missed some signage. I was looking at the map on my phone, was on Pleasant St, and passed by the whole thing several times. I almost gave up trying to find it, but I could smell good food, so I finally took a chance on a tinted door near a coffee shop and was happily surprised to find I was in the right spot for Dad's Cafe as well. Give Dad's Farm and Cafe a try, I think you'll really enjoy it!

Or, I did. This person must really need 50 cents badly to actually ignore a customer and to refuse a refund. Your business will not last if you do not have the management skills to back up cooking skills. And this is a small area. When a customer asks you why you charged them something, they are not just asking. It is theft. I expect an answer when I ask that question. My receipt clearly shows a custom charge of 50 cents, for a side of sauce that I did not receive. It was actually supposed to be a dollar because I ordered 2 sides. I sent a message and was told that I was not charged, end of reply. I replied that I was. Instead of sending a refund, they sent me a copy of the current receipt that clearly shows a 50 cent custom charge on it. I am not the blind one here. I messaged again asking what the charge was for, if not for the sauce. No reply. I am also tired of tipping on takeout just to have no one check the orders and for it to go out wrong, no more. What is the tip for? It was 2 items, juice, and some sauce, not hard to get right. Tip in cash only if your order is correct. A normal response would also be to apologize for getting the order wrong to begin with. I have not received another response or a refund so I take it that they feel entitled to take money for items not given. It is not about the amount of money, just the audacity and bad business practices. Shameful behavior. There is nothing special about the menu here so something better will eventually take its place.

The outside in my honest opinion does not give a welcoming, farmers market vibe. It reminds me of old sheds or long warehouses that have been converted, albeit that is most likely what it was. However there is not really a specific entrance that I found, just multiple doorways that may or may not be marked as entrance doors. Inside, we found the market to be basically a very large rectangular loop of vendors booths. There is lots and lots of crafts to look at. The produce appeared to be on the higher side so we passed on buying. There was a wonderful lavender vendor with very high grade essential oils at very good prices that we did purchase. There is wonderful English Tea and food items which were splendid. ( might be a reason I return). Additionally there was a Hungarian bakery vendor that had wonderful items to taste, they were very traditional and delicious. We noticed a small cafe or diner but did not stop, it looked dated but had customers enjoying their orders. If I had to give any feedback as a consumer to the owners, it would be to invest in better parking, signage and updating of your building. The vendors that were present ( empty booths were noted) seem to love their businesses and would benefit from the updates!
