There's so much to see from classic paintings to modern installations and the layout makes it easy to explore at your own pace. I really enjoyed discovering different exhibits and spending a few hours soaking up the art. The staff were friendly, and the museum has a welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Portland!

I came in the morning until the afternoon, and it was not busy. There were some school children and some random adults in here but since this place is big it felt quite calm and cool just to hang out and look at all the different types of art. The main reason why I came here was to look at Yoshida Chizuko's work which has an amazing story about how her life was and how she became an artist. Here has many different styles of art and honestly I had a lot of fun here, I spent half my day here enjoying each level, room, and just a unique layout! It is a must-visit museum!!

I honestly don't think it's a very good garden compared to other ones I've visited. Parking was also hard to find too since it's in downtown and we finished walking through the garden within 30 minutes. They seem to have really cool events during the weekends and they also have guided tours but again, very small garden so not really going anywhere and they're just telling you about the history which is already available for you to read or watch in another building. They have a small, very expensive gift shop up front near the box office that has many Chinese books and other small business items. Wouldn't recommend unless you live somewhere that doesn't have an Asian garden, you may enjoy this.

It means big murals to look at, wall projections that are responsive to movement, sounds meant to augment what you see, and more. Two rooms (trampoline and ball pit) require shoes to be off, socks to be on, and stairs to be climbed, in order to access them. The rest of the place is flat concrete floors. They do also have a food and drink program that I have not personally gotten to enjoy. I recommend everyone who visits brings their sense of wonder and play. Good for families to kill a an hour or two together.

Lots of photos of the family and context to the photos! This was great. Outside was clean and there were ton of labels for all the plants. Flowers and plants full bloom! We did the WildWood Trail to the Witches Castle! It's a nice hike. Wear appropriate shoes and clothes! 2.3-5 miles round trip. It's a big enough path for multiple people but some areas narrow. The climb down is good but man back up lol you will feel the burn. They have restrooms onsite indoor and then they have a bathroom in the mansion basement. Toilets flush loud don't be alarmed. At the bottom of the trail when you cross the street, there was a porta potty. Map as well. Parking is expensive: weekend Saturday it was roughly $24 for all day! There are benches and picnic tables towards the view! Staff are very nice! Gift shop as well with snacks, plants, jewelry, postcards, and all sorts of items.

While the website says otherwise, the gift shop is not available to non-members until 10 a.m., a disappointing oversight that ended up wasting some of our time when we came to visit. And plan ahead for parking, it can be a challenge. I wanted more explanation of the various plants on site, there were very few signs of any kind and staff were nonexistent so I felt that I lost out on some opportunities to learn more about what I was seeing throughout the grounds.
