I went here for the Whisky Live event, I had no idea that the space was used for commercial events.
It was a wonderful venue for a terrific event. So much variety of whiskey on show and I kept gravitating to Cooley Distillery not because I am biased but they really went all out with their stand. A live cooper, several different strains of whiskey and such a friendly crowd. I was rather tipsy by 7pm, thank God for tea.
The space has ample space for the multiple vendors and room for people to mingle etc.
It is a circular room and the drop in star has nothing to do with the event, it really was terrific and very well organised. It is because the access to the food area which is a balcony that circles also is quite hard to access as in poor signage and rather steep stairs. There is a rig with loads of lights hanging above and that is fine and dandy but not too cool when you have a spotlight on you as you shovel stew into your gullet. read more
