I'll be reporting them to the Obsbugman organization for nursing home care and all other organizations. It's deplorable. Best thing I can say is the food looked delicious however I refused food. No call light for buses or phones for patients without cell phones. An elderly woman was put in my room while they were working on the A:C in hers. She was trying to get help for over 2 hours, so I finally screamed help for her. They replied to her needs like I heard them reply to all of us. " Now dear, you're fine. Calm down. The young Physical therapist that came in was a doll. He tried to help me with my request. That was to get me the fuck out of there. My cell was nearly dead as my charger mysteriously disappeared. Thank god I had about a min left to call my son hysterically crying telling him that they won't let me go. His phone call was the only reason transport came within about 3 hours to get me out. I heard whomever took the call say to ? In the hallway, " what do we do? Her son just called and reined holy hell down on us if she's not transported out immediately!" Their 3 hours was immediately and I was completely and mentally exhausted & sickened by that short experience for days! And it takes so much to put me in that mindset, that I've actually never been in before! Don't put a loved one there for any reason unless you truly hate them and don't give a shot about where you put them. Zero Stars

I was grateful to find a facility to get her into quickly. The staff was nice enough and the residents were what one normally sees at a convalescent home, confused and in pain. My mom was no different. She died 8 days after being placed in the home. Since she had been there only 8 days, we were due a refund of about 1/3 of what we paid to get her into the place. My mom was poor and caring for her all year was an emotional and financial burden on me; I could really have used that money, especially with the cremation still to come. I reached out to the facility to get the $1000 they owed. The staff gave me a number that goes straight to an anonymous voicemail. No body will call me back. I sent a letter and it was returned saying no body was there to receive it. My aunt stopped by, only to be told the staff didn't know anything about it and to call the same, dead end phone number they gave me. As a bereaving daughter, I would have appreciated some integrity and grace from someone in charge.

The bed alarms are constant and are rarely responded to quickly. It was torture for my disabled husband. I will say they were accommodating about needing different roommates. Paradigm did require an amount equal to our Annual Max Out of Pocket up front since the stay included January 1. The care our child received was good. We felt they were safe and well cared for. If the child is willing to do the work, the program can be helpful.
