The doctor and nurse were very knowledgeable and, above all, CARING! Even though my test results hadn't come in yet, the doctor still called to see how I was doing anyway and gave me options if I didn't feel better. That's unheard of in my experience! I highly recommend them!

When I got there, only one other person was is in the lobby. Just a note it's small inside plus they have seating blocked off due to COVID (Which I'm okay with). The staff was nice at the front desk and the paper work wasn't that long. I had another person in front of me , so I had to wait a bit in the exam room. The PA ( I'm saying PA cause usually doctors say that they are a doctor when they walk in, if she's a doctor I really do apologize ) asked me what brought me here and actually listened to what I had to say. She told me what she thought was wrong and ordered some X-rays. Additionally, she added an X-ray to see if what I thought happened was going on as well. Got the X-rays done and what she said was the right thing and she took her time out to explain why. Gave me a shot and I was on my way home. Woke up this morning in barely any pain compared to the day before. Thanks to the staff there for proving me wrong and taking good care of me.

I feel like their online appointment app shouldn't schedule appointments when they are really busy. The waiting room was quite cold and I found the chairs uncomfortable....probably because I was achy. Once I was called the staff was very kind and helpful.  They took my vitals, ran a few tests and called in some prescriptions for me. The process was fast once I was called back. I actually started feeling better by evening. I will definitely continue to choose this UrgentMed location. The waiting room can be long; but probably much faster and less expensive than visiting the ER!

There are a few times that they are WAY behind when it comes to appointments that it makes me wonder what the point of making one is. I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because they only had 2 people working at the time. They were apologetic but I was never told there would be a bit of a backup because of this. The location is easy to find and the parking lot has a nice amount of spaces for everyone that needs to come here. The lobby is always clean and there is more than eniugh seating as well. One of their main entrance doors is stuck so there is only one door to come in and out. The rooms are clean but very small so I feel like I'm ontop of everyone when there is more than two people in the room at a time. Overall it's a great urgentmed and my choice in case I get under the weather or need something quick looked at!

This is the second time I have visited, and both times I had the privilege of being under the care…read moreof NP Kathryn Pebanco. I must admit the check-in kiosk is a little dated, it operates at a barely moving pace. I was particularly bothered by the fact that they boast on their website that you can do it ahead of time online, but I couldn't find it anywhere on there! However, this is a review of their clinic, not the navigation of their website! We checked in and after working with the turtle kiosk we were told we had a one hour and 22 minute wait. No worries. Let's go eat. We returned about an hour later and waited outside the clinic area as it said we were next. Kathryn reached out and communicated that we were next, and politely asked us to have our insurance card ready. When it was our turn, three out of four of us had an appointment. It should have been all four of us, but I didn't have the patience to log in another person on that machine. We nipped in there immediately and Kathryn was a machine! She was the receptionist, insurance verifier, nurse and cashier! She types faster than anyone I have ever seen!!! She quickly got through the necessary paperwork and proceeded to ask my daughter how she was feeling. She was extremely thorough with questions, and a physical exam. She is very friendly, and also funny, I really love her! She took care of my baby girl, and then when she was finished with her she had to go through all the other million procedures to check in my son and husband. They were both getting a flu shot, and she made sure to again be very informative, making sure everyone knew what to be aware of with the vaccine, etc. I see the bad reviews-boo hooo- you had to wait?! Well, let's be realistic. It's a clinic, they may see no one all morning, or 14 people. I do know however that if there are a lot of people and Kathryn is there she is working at lightning fast speed to take care of everyone and doing every single part of the work that a minimum of three people typically do at a doctor's office. So, be kind, and READ the check in screen. You can see when you will be seen, and also get a text 30 minutes prior to that time. Don't hesitate. It's the best thing especially on a Sunday when your doctor is off and you don't want to pay the higher copay of an urgent care center! We love you Kathryn!

I don't mind waiting, but waiting for an hour when you're already have an appointment with a confirmation number and you checked in twice it's a lack of respect. Both NPs working there now are the rudest I've ever seen. No bedside manners. Such a waist of time. After confirming with my insurance twice that they were in Network, they refused to take me. It's a good thing I wasn't dying. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Very disorganized. I wish there was an option for 0 stars. :(

Then today I called to discuss abnormal results with the physician, which I thought would be a common thing to do when you receive abnormal results in your online file, and she told me I needed to call the location where I walk-in (which was there) , then rudely told me they don't discuss results and I would have to pay the walk-in again if I wanted to discuss with a physician. That seems off. I understand COVID and being more patient with customer service these days, but there was nobody else in the walk-in that day and this lady had no reason to talk rudely to me over the phone. I was simply calling to ask about abnormal results. She is in the business of people and health. Compassion would be helpful in her arsenal of attitudes. The physician and her assistant were extremely nice and helpful.

Not Recommended I…read morewent to this urgent care because I suspected I had a broken toe. Before going in, I called to confirm they had an X-ray machine, which they did. They took the X-ray but then told me they did not have someone available to read it and that they would call me with the results. Hours passed and I never received a call. As they were closing, I called the clinic myself and was told that the X-ray showed my toe was not broken and that it was probably a sprain. The pain never went away, so my primary care doctor referred me to a foot specialist at Holy Cross. They took another X-ray and confirmed that the toe was actually fractured. My insurance paid more than $500 for the urgent care visit, and I was later billed a $24 co-pay. I called the clinic to explain that the fracture had been missed and asked if the co-pay could be waived. The office manager told me it "shouldn't be a problem" but said she would call me back. Instead, I later received a call from the operations manager, Camilo, who told me they would not waive the $24. What is most frustrating is not just the missed fracture, but the lack of follow-up communication and unwillingness to work with me on such a small billing issue after the situation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this urgent care.
