First of all Mr. Black Bert came as a savior for my girl's 6th birthday. We had booked another magician for 6 pm and at around 4:30 PM , he messages me saying he is covid positive and has to cancel unfortunately. We called multiple magicians from internet for the next 30 minutes and then we got hold of Mr. Black Bert. He was so kind, very responsive and was luckily available to come in. He showed up at 5:40 PM and started the show at sharp 6 PM !! And then the party was suddenly back on and, what a show !!!! Laughs and tiny little giggles, and wonders and surprises, kids and adults were equally awestruck !! We hired Bert for our daughters 7th birthday party, and he was a huge hit! His approach included both a magic class and a magic show. The kids had a great time learning a magic trick before being amazed with several captivating tricks during the show. The adults were equally entertained during the show as well. Bert expertly managed a group of sugar-high six and seven year old first graders. We were impressed at how he was able to be both firm and patient while still keeping the show moving along and really engaging the kids by using lots of volunteers and interaction. Everything was age appropriate and clearly well practiced. There wasn't any bumbling or mistakes or failed tricks, but rather a clearly prepared and practiced approach that didn't feel scripted, but didn't miss a beat. Highly recommended! read more
