Then a friend recommended Who's Walking Who and everything changed! Ruby just loves her groomer, Marianne, at Who's Walking Who! She takes Ruby into her appointment immediately, and therefore the process is much quicker. This matters to me because Ruby is less tired when she's done and I believe it's much less stressful for her. She has never been razor burned there, and they consistently ask for feedback as to her cut...which has always been done perfectly. I recommend Who's Walking Who, and our groomer, Marianne most highly!

I was able to get an appt. quickly at CC. We were treated with the utmost kindness & care. They were busy but still saw us in a timely fashion. When my pup was taken for treatment, she was returned immediately to me. I received not just 1 call but 2 follow-up. The office is not slick & shiny, like some, but the bill was not over-inflated either. I was not pressured to do more testing & even given an alternative to a costly complete blood panel. (Which is what I thought was needed) I just can't get over what a great experience my pup & I had. They will definitely be her vet from now on.

I am extremely disappointed with the communication at Larkin Veterinary Center -- specifically with…read moreBridget. I clearly explained that I am the primary contact for two of my cats, and that any decisions or charges regarding them needed to go through me directly. Instead of respecting that, Bridget contacted my partner and gave him incorrect information, which resulted in him being charged for a cat that is not even under his account. On top of that, I was told one thing about my cat's paw plan, while my partner was told something completely different. That is not just poor communication -- that is misinformation. When you are dealing with people's pets, their money, and their trust, there is zero room for careless mistakes or conflicting stories. This whole situation could have been avoided if Bridget had simply listened and followed clear instructions. Pet owners deserve transparency, accuracy, and basic respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

I would never recommend this veterinary clinic after what Dr. Rice did to my pup…read more My dog was experiencing blood in his urine, and after his initial examination, he was scheduled for surgery to remove multiple bladder stones. During the procedure, Dr. Rice discovered that the stones were no longer present. What is most concerning is that the surgery was performed before taking a routine X-ray to confirm the stones were still there. Had an X-ray been taken before surgery, it appears the absence of the stones could have been identified and this invasive procedure may have been avoided. As a result, my dog underwent a surgery that I believe was completely preventable. This experience left me extremely disappointed and concerned about the standard of care provided.

A little context, I have a two year old Bernese Mountain Dog that I have been struggling to find a…read moregroomer for due to his size. I had called Horton's to see if they would be willing to trim/groom my Berner, explaining in depth that he weighs approximately 120lbs and is not yet neutered. I explained that he does not like bath time but is non aggressive, and still has a lot of energy. The owner explained that this would be absolutely no problem due to them owning large dogs themselves. Long story short, I took Ranger to this facility on the day of his appointment. As a puppy, specifically not neutered and at a completely new facility he tends to want to sniff around. The owner immediately seemed dismissive and rude, shaking her head and groaning. Upon entering the building, I pointed out the cat sitting on the window sill, to which the owner stated "Keep him away from the cat." (At a DOG kennel.) Then they took Ranger to the back and the owner asked me to fill out paperwork. Within a minute the owner had brought my dog back out front. They stated "We can't groom him, he is not trained enough." And handed Ranger back to me. My frustration lies in the fact that I throughly explained that he is a large dog with lots of energy and they proceeded to still schedule him knowing this, only to refuse grooming services after all the prep and driving to the facility. Safe to say we will not be going back any time soon. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer in my life, hopefully that is not a reflection of the kennel services as well.

The last grooming experience, she attempted to express my pups' anal glands but stopped before fully expressing, stating she felt she was hurting him; we ended up having to take him to the vet afterwards. This was a service she offered, not one I requested, free of charge. Our pup came back in with "choppy" looking fur. In addition, she was unable to clip or dremel his nails but still charged full price for each of his services. Understanding he can be anxious during grooming, which was discussed with her prior to scheduling, she followed-up with a very detailed text afterwards giving me an ESTIMATE (she typed in capitals) for our next appointment that could be changed after his appointment based on his behavior. If she was uncomfortable or unable to perform the services she was offering, I would have preferred she declined grooming our pup. I felt this could have been handled in a more professional manner. Not all pups are calm when being groomed.
