Ok, where do I start???…read more I met Nikki 3.5 years ago when she was working at EWC. I had just moved out to Stockton and didn't know nothing about it. I did know that I still had wax passes left from my old EWC, and I was in need of a wax. So, I went on the site and checked out all of the reviews first. The main name I seen on there was Nikki's and her reviews were awesome, so I booked with her. Let me tell you, she's freaking amazing!! She made sure I was comfortable and very professional. This lady waxed me so good and wasn't scared to get in there and get the stubborn hairs... okaaaay, she got them all!! From that day, that's been the ONLY PERSON that have waxed me. Before finding out she was moving on to greater things(becoming her OWN Boss), I had renewed my passes @ EWC. When she told me the great news that she opened up her very own wax place, y'all know I had to follow her, and so i did. Canceled my EWC passes and went with my waxer. Not only is Nikki my waxer, she is definitely family/big sister to me and I love her!! My kids know her and love her like an Aunt!! Johanna was either going to make this an amazing experience or brake it for me. As soon as I walked in Johanna greeted me with a friendly warm smile. Right away making me feel comfortable and relaxed. She asked me if I had ever been waxed before and made sure she explained in detail what I should expect. Made sure I understood this was my body and if at anytime I decided not to proceed to just let her know. She went over basic breathing exercises and I won't lie as comfortable as she made me feel, I was still terrified. After she pulled the 1st strip the process went nice and smooth. My belly strip was also done perfectly, so I decided to come back. Today, I came in really excited but also nervous because I already knew the pain that comes with waxing. I got Tanya, and honestly, I'm not sure what was going on with her, but she seemed bothered or upset. When she came to go grab me from the front, I greeted her and she looked me up and down. Right away, I didn't feel very comfortable. She didn't really talk to me unless I asked her a question. I asked her some questions about the place and making an appointment, and she kept saying things like "I got you," but honestly, I didn't feel like she did. After the service, I noticed there was still hair left around my lips, my perineum area, and the left side of my butt strip. She had me get on my knees so she could get the hair, which I was completely okay with, but she still didn't get the left side or any hair on my butt. It honestly felt like she didn't really get my butt strip at all. I'm not saying this because I expected anything extra. I'm saying it because when you pay $80 for a wax, you expect the service you paid for to be completed. I shouldn't have to point out every area that still has hair. Also, when you're getting a wax, you're already in a very vulnerable position. You're basically completely exposed, so I feel like the person doing your service should make you feel comfortable and respected. My first experience was good because the person made me feel comfortable, even though I was nervous. This time, I didn't feel that same comfort at all. I also still gave Tanya a $10 tip, which honestly makes me feel even more frustrated because I paid $80 and still left with hair. Like ugh, I wanted to leave bald, not halfway bald. I originally clicked "Any Specialist" when I booked, so they assigned me whoever was available. If you do the same, good luck getting Tanya . Honestly, I would recommend looking at the specialists and choosing someone based on what people say about them instead of letting them select someone for you. I personally wouldn't book with Tanya again.

She also goes in with Fur oil after the wax is complete, which I LOVE because that oil is not cheap ifykyk. I'd highly recommend her for any of your wax needs!

I was a last minute appointment, but she took her time and even was able to add an extra service (brows) to my appointment. Brazilian - I rarely trim my areas, so you can imagine the level of pain I was expecting....NOPE! Actually, between the conversation and walking me through the process, it was much more relaxing than I expected and have experienced from others in the past. It was such a great experience that I booked my follow-up appointment right on the spot! Brows - I haven't had my brows trimmed in over 2 years. She was gentle, yet affective and also gave good advice for how to maintain my skin afterwards. The next time I went to her, I scheduled a Consultation + Acne Facial because I've been breaking out really bad and the salon I was going to previously wasn't helping much in clearing my acne. The consultation was very thorough and Kia gave so much knowledge on how acne works and why my face wasn't clearing up despite all the expensive products I was buying. The facial included cleansing, a peel, extractions, LED mask, and then acne gel and sunscreen. All (or I think a majority of) the products she used during the facial, she actually sells in her salon. The products smelled so good and I felt comfortable with her using them on me because the ingredients didn't have any comedogenics. I ended up purchasing the acne gel which works so good with my new skin care routine. Again, she gave a lot of good tips on how to care for my skin post facial. I randomly met Tiffany when I was getting my nails done. I found out she did facials and I needed a new esthetician. I took a chance and I am so glad I did. I will stay committed and loyal to her forever. She listened to my skin concerns. I have extreme dermititis and my skin can be very sensitive. She understood, she made sure I was fine with her process and how she did things. Her products are top notch and I haven't had a reaction yet. My skin always look better afterwards and I swear she reversed my aging. I'm in my 30s and my skin looks and feels better than my early 20s. Next, my lashes she does the best lash lifts. I read horror stories and what can go wrong if it isn't done correctly. My lashes stay hydrated and no breakage after it is done. The lifts last several months.
