Their server are attentive, professional and efficient. They have a bar with a wide selection of hard liquor, beer and a solid selection of wine. One of the main reasons we were interested in the Crown Room (besides the beautiful fireplace, large windows, and ceiling beams) was because they are a full service vendor. We had our ceremony and reception in the same room, they have their own chef and pastry chef, wait staff and bar service. The food is sooo good! From the open house in January that had appetizer/cake tasting and entree tasting a few months before the big day, we were constantly impressed and stuffed! We received countless positive reviews from family members and guest on how incredible the dinner, cupcakes and hors d'oeuvres were at the wedding. Some guests even describes the food service as "magical," the servers seem to appear out of no where and serve all tables at the same time. We chose to have our ceremony on site as well as the reception. We loved being able to create our own aisle design and ambience. The guests did not sit in rows but instead at the tables they would be served dinner. I loved how this was set up, it felt more cozy and less formal and intimidating to me and my husband. We were allowed to take photos on site before the ceremony. There are many beautiful locations on the Crown Room grounds as well as inside to take photos as a large group or as a couple. We found it very sweet that this beautiful room was nestled in a senior living facility. There were many residents that would sit in their front lounge and admire all the beautiful dresses and give such kind compliments and advice to us newlyweds! A good sized piece of chicken was just a minute more above being fork tender. Another favorite was the lamb ragu. If there were vegetables I ignored them and didn't have room on the plate.The bar is at the top of the stairs. It was also check in and we got a parking pass, thank God. So the dessert and coffee table had their signature chocolate. But I was lured to the cobbler and creme fraiche. The servers are standing very close to the buffet table and cater to your every whim, especially filling waters and clearing plates. Pique Travel Design is simply a beautiful space to hold an event. It is comfortable and gorgeous, and it was so easy to just tell Jessica what I was looking for and she helped to make sure the room would be set up with exactly what I needed. D'Amico... What can you say? The planning process could not have been better. Christie gave me an estimate, and we talked through it and came to an agreement on how much and what food was really needed, and the result was a perfect amount of food for the group in attendance. The set up of the food was amazing, and the staff on site was just AWESOME. They even helped us set up our decorations, they answered any questions I had, they were flexible with timing, and they even brought me a beverage as I was standing toward the back of the room chatting. As people who really enjoy food, (and since we were going to have fairly tame selections for the wedding), we wanted to get some unique options for our rehearsal dinner. It was a real pleasure to work with Phillip on a menu. He was incredibly interested and attentive to all of our thoughts. We ended up going with options of a beautifully elevated and seasonal Moulard Duck, Market Fish (Salmon), and Gnudi dumplings that nearly turned me vegetarian for the night. Everything from apps to salad to dessert was absolutely delicious, and we got so many rave comments from our guests. Despite having 30 people, we were able to get everyone together at one gigantic long table stretching across the dining room. It was such an intimate and lovely experience that I can't imagine getting anywhere else. The acoustics were great. We were in total control of the sound, as well as what would be served at the bar, and of course we had the place to ourselves for the whole night. Having a venue we could open up to additional guests after dinner was important to us as well. The front wall of the studio opens up and on a nice night (which we had) you can also mingle outside. They even set up a little fire for us on the patio. We truly could not ask for more. We don't have plans to get married again, but I'm looking for almost any excuse to host another event at this point. Can't wait to get back!

The bar was very easy to coordinate and was quick to accommodate a couple of special requests we made. If there's anything we would have changed in retrospect, it would have been establishing some sort of off-site shuttle option. Luckily, our Sunday afternoon event was on a weekend where the Vikings were out of town and street parking was readily available. Still, this isn't any fault of the venues -- just a logistical thing to consider for your day. We can confidently say we would have our event at Watson Block even if given a do-over.

Mintahoe was so on top of it that they even had multiple gluten and dairy free wedding cakes for the bride to taste. This was especially impressive to us because other gluten and dairy free bakeries wouldn't even accommodate cake tastings. (The cakes were all delicious. We went with chocolate raspberry/ lemon poppyseed with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.) Morgan went above and beyond through every step of the planning process, and she and the Mintahoe staff thought of everything. At our final planning meeting we met Nikita. She had the venue set up and then we went through every step of the day according to the timeline. On the big day, Nikita coordinated with our DJ, Pastor, and Photographers and things could not have gone better! A few things that really stood out to us were: - After the ceremony, the venue had our favorite drinks and small appetizer plates ready for us in the back room. - The late night snack (nacho bar and wings) were also allergen free. - They put up all of our signage and place cards (which saves a lot of stress).
