Tagged along with my wife and her friend ti enjoy a drink at Stonefield Cellars…read more I'd never been to this winery, but we were well greeted and welcomed into their tasting room. It seemed they had a pretty extensive list of wines to choose from. They had a large, spacious indoor area for sitting, but also a lot of outdoor space and a medium sized covered patio with fans to help with the heat. The woman working the bar was very friendly and I heard her making a number of recommendations. Personally I'm not a wine drinker, but they did also have a small selection of beers to pick from as well We had a great visit and I'd go back to enjoy a nice day, maybe when the weather begins to cool, at least a little

Everyone I was with ended up going for the flight and they brought them out pretty quickly despite being really busy on a Sunday afternoon. The flights might be a little small but the price was pretty affordable so it was worth it in my opinion. There's plenty of outside tables and there's a few tables inside. There's also a cute store inside with some local products. I personally love dessert wine so I love the variety of dessert wines they have. Every wine I tried was really good though. They did come around & ask if we wanted to join the wine club and gave us a sample of a club exclusive wine, but they weren't pushy at all when we said we weren't interested in joining. We also had a charcuterie board which I wish I took a picture of. It was delicious - it had cheese, crackers, olives, chocolate covered pomegranates (I think), and I'm sure I'm forgetting something else. Overall, a really enjoyable place to go with friends or a nice date spot! They seem to have a lot of good events worth checking out too.

Disappointing! One star may be too gracious. My daughter was married here 11/08/2025. I wish I…read morecould say good things however I can't let this happen to someone else. Danielle, the on site wedding planner that works for Gray Gables, did not show up at 10:30 am and when my daughter contacted the owner after no one answered at the venue, we were told she wasn't there.I went to find this woman in the main house. She was hanging out there. The schedule that Danielle and my daughter agreed upon was not executed at all and when I questioned her - she blamed it on the contracted photographer who works for us NOT Gray Gables. First look photos were to be at 1:15 yet Danielle was no where to be found delaying photos almost an hour! The photographer that works for us - not the venue- went to find her and ended up having to take the groomsmen photos because Danielle did not even try to locate the dads for first look. I had to seek out Danielle and then inform her of her duties to which she replied it's the photographers job. No ma'am, it's not. I literally said to her I need you to take charge so we aren't roaming your property blindly and if you aren't going to help as stated in the contract then tell me and we will do it all. She claimed she was busy setting up all morning however at 12:30 when the florist arrived there were no tables set for flowers to be placed in the hall or on the patio for the cocktail hour. So my florist facilitated that too-I honestly don't know what she was busy with from 8 am to 1:30. She should have been available. Danielle finally went to my daughter 40 minutes later who was waiting patiently in the trees for first looks on RED mulch that was freshly put out the day before. That's important because it rained the night before and my daughter could not move without assistance if she wanted to keep her dress from being stained. Danielle apologized to my daughter; however, my daughter had to pull up the contract to read it to her to prove her duties. The photo schedule was significantly behind at this point so we didn't get bride and mom or bride and bridesmaids shots. The bridal attendee we hired from the venue did not show until 2:30 (although I must say Melissa helped get us through photos). No one greeted guests or helped with parking so they almost ran into my daughter as she was finishing pictures. It was so much confusion. When a car alarm went off as the wedding party was lining up - Danielle refused to go see which car since as she told me she wouldn't know who it belonged to. When we entered the reception hall, the donut cake had already been eaten from so my daughter did not have a groom and bride moment. The wedding planner, Daniele, that we hired from the venue then approached me about 8:30 pm to have me not only clear out the bridal suite, but also orchestrate decorating the car so I missed the fun games with my daughter and her new hubby. I should have declined but I was already used to running around all day doing their job- I wanted to make sure things went well fo my daughter. I also missed the dad and daughter dance - Melissa eventually came and got me so I could see the steps dad and daughter dance thankfully but as you can imagine I spent the night doing wedding planner duties.  I sprinted from the bridal suite to the reception hall in my heels and fancy dress sweating to catch the last 30 secs of the groom and his mom dancing. The entire staff is simply not helpful. They will not speak to you or your guests. They will not assist at all. WHO puts the mother of the bride to work during the reception! Finally a few quality/safety notes. The outside light for the bridal cottage is out. The small area in front of the door to the cottage that joins to the deck is about to fall through. Don't step there. The bridal cottage also had a recent leak evidently and the interior ceiling is stained. I want it to be great but it's run down and the staff can not pull off what they promise. The shuttle is limited to 11 people and runs one time, not multiple times as promised. On top of that guests were allowed to occupy the bridal suite all night so lock your stuff up before the wedding begins.

They also let us choose our own caterer which helped us save so much money. There are so many gorgeous locations for a ceremony, and the reception hall is spacious and filled with natural light! Once the Sun goes down, the entire venue transformed into a romantic dream with string lights draped all over! We also stayed overnight before the wedding and made use of the hot tub! It was so worth it to wake up the day of our wedding and already be there. I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the grounds aren't super disability-friendly and communication was a bit difficult and felt more confusing than it had to be, but still a lovely place worth the price!
