After discovering the existence of the bar on an afternoon shopping trip, my girlfriend and I congratulated ourselves on a hard day's procuring with a couple of glasses if their more affordable Champagne (Mumm Cordon Rouge NV at £45 per bottle or £8 per glass). We sat at the bar itself, which is situated in the middle of the room in the round, a nice place to sit and chat to the friendly staff. What we didn't know is that the new club was basically just a bad Paparazzi tribute club. Entourage is as bad as the name implies. Full of the most stuck up people in the world. I kid you not. It's really not my sort of place, overpriced drinks, under clothed people and over hyped music. The Airport night that Paparazzi used to do was a really good night and it has made a comeback here but it's just not as good as it used to be, it was full of kids and the DJ liked the sound of his own voice too much so it was quite cringe worthy. I really like this bar…read more I've been about six or seven times now, I have a lot of gay friends and a lot of straight friends. This is a very good place to go to if you're out with a mix of the two. It's in the gay village but on the outskirts so it's kind of mutual territory. It's cheap, it's big, it has another bar below it (BED) and a huge island-type bar in the middle and they serve you at all sides so you never have to queue to long. And jugs of cocktail are buy-one-get-one-free. Messy times. It's a good place to start a night off, I wouldn't really stay here all night. Music is cheesy as you'd expect but it's a good laugh and the DJ is usually up for playing most requests.

It was whilst on one of these walks I discovered Reflexion Shisha Lounge. The lounge is extremely well run and the interior is immaculate. A posher version of Rusholme's Shisha cafe offerings is how I'd probably describe it. The Scene Indian kitchen shisha terrace probably gives it a run for its money but I think Reflexion wins out, just! The quality of the shisha is very good and despite it being a tad more expensive, given the waterside views is worthwhile. As well as Shisha they also have an extensive F&B menu although it's diffficult to see anyone venturing here for that alone if you're not into shisha. This place has definately given me more of a reason to explore what this locale has to offer.
