Tried to set up a showing twice, and the only thing I got back was that THEY were interested in knowing more about what I wanted and IF they would be a good fit and THEY could provide me with a mortgage lender etc....it was all about THEM and what THEY wanted not about the property I was inquiring about through HAR. When I questioned them on this they said there was no specific inquiry with the subject line all along showing the address I was inquiring about......wow, guess they have too much business to worry about little ole me, but I guess they are doing SOMETHING right to be able to advertise as much as they do etc....but they won't get any of my business now or later. read more

I was blessed to have worked with Will Borel from the Loken Group to help me find an executive lease in Houston, Texas. From when I contacted him last Thursday to when he secured a home this Tuesday there isn't a thing he didn't take care of for us and our home rental requirements. Since we were not present in Houston and were under a very stressful time crunch we had to rely and trust Will with every aspect of this move. If you have moved as many times as I have, you know the importance of working with someone who is in your corner as a Buyer's representative. All I have to say is thank goodness we were referred to him. Will went out of his way during the lease process to educate us about the executive rental market and how leases work in Texas. If you aren't familiar with leasing, every state has different leases they abide by and each with different quirks. In addition Will was prompt in doing every ZOOM live video conferencing at all the properties so he could show us the inside of each home and the unique aspects of each residential neighborhood so we could be confident in picking the right place. Will not only help us narrow down the two best areas for us to consider, The Woodlands and Galleria/Uptown but he went out of his way to make sure he secured us the best property for our needs and find us a good and reputable landlord to work with. Will is an all around positive, patient and AMAZING "can do," guy who showed us all around Houston, via face time, and made sure we were taken care of the entire way. We were so lucky and couldn't of asked for a better realtor. The most disappointing part about the process was that right when we were about to sign the lease we didn't end up moving to Houston. When we told Will we weren't moving he handled it with the utmost class and graciousness. Exactly, what to expect from someone who is a true world class professional. Wish I could give zero stars. That's how much work they did on selling our home. they advertise that they will sell your home or buy it. We never received any offer to buy it, nor did they sell it. After 3 months we started asked questions and realized the only person ever to enter the home was the photographer. None of the team had even seen it in person. They didn't even put the lock box on the door, but instead gave out the door code for entry. We couldn't even track who us been in the house. Once we fired them, we hired our 3rd realtor and sold in 16 days. I would never advise you to use this group. They spend all of their advertising money on marketing themselves, not your home. read more

Recently my wife and I visited one of the home in The Township. Our realtor setup a tour and afterwards we fell in love with the home. Our realtor contacted Ray Garza representing the home listed by the Lance Loken group and advised we were interested in the house at 2pm Thursday. We were informed he had already left that area for the day but the documents could be done up digitally and he we send them over that night. We even negotiated in a washer dryer and fridge. That night no documents were sent to our realtor and no reply to our attempts of contact. Friday morning an attempt of contact was made again and no reply. Still no contract sent as well. Friday afternoon we were informed the house had been sold to someone else. This is inappropriate service. While the Lance Loken group was not directly involved it does reflect on those they let represent their listings in business dealings. read more

I worked with Chris - buyers agent. Overall, his service was inconsistent. It seemed like I was working harder than he was to contact him , communicate, or try to arrange a showing. Overall- Chris is clearly a pleasant and personable guy. He gave me nice listings (through an automatic search engine) but didn't follow through, wasn't consistent in responding, and was difficult to get hold of. It ended up being stressful at the end to get no response and no insight. I made several bad choices base on his "negotiating" advice. I wish I would have found a new realtor who would have represented me. I also realize I could have done this process myself as it seemed like he did the bare minimum, did an online search but did not offer any extra insights. read more

This was the worse realty firm I've dealt with. I signed up with Brittany. After meeting with her she never answered my calls. Only communicated with me via text message! What realtor does this? When I asked what they were doing proactively to sell my house she says they have it listed on the internet. Doesn't every realtor do that? No communication, no feedback, no pro activity. Only takes listings and then tells you to lower your price. That's an option after you've done all you could to sell my house. This was definitely NOT the case. We chose the Loken Group based upon all of the great things that we had heard around their capabilities. Our experience has been quite a bit less than stellar so far. I guess the best way that I could sum it up is a list and dump. So far we are less than excited about our realtor.
