Its generally busy so expect to queue up for 5 or 10 mins. It will be worth the wait for the best fish and chips around. The fish in particular are very good. Always cooked well with great batter. They always make sure that the fish are a good size and will add a extra half if they feel the first is undersize. Chips are good and one portion is plenty for 2 people. There are several chippies in the same area but this is the place to come to.

Fantastic value especially considering the quality of the food. The menu is actually quite large and so would cater easily for anyone fancying a change from the standard. I had a look on Yelp beforehand so knew this chippy was in a handy location. Just off the main road going through Hebden Bridge and is close to the visitors centre. Surprisingly I was not that hungry so just finished some chips so just got a small portion for £1. You can get a normal portion size for £1.50, a cone for 85p. The chips were Ok. A bit bland. I dont normally get them to add salt as chippys usually add too much but even without it, expect it to taste OK - sometimes not needing any at all. But this time it could have done with some added.

They won an award a few years ago for best fish and chip shop but I still think they're one of the best in Brighouse. The fish is beautiful and they do great chips. I love to get them from here and go and eat them by the canal on a sunny day. The staff in here are friendly and always have a smile. The shop looks a bit old and worn but still very clean. I haven't been in the restaurant but it looks nice from the outside!
